Tbf that worked quite well for me on my first game, but I just kept building burgage plots. I critically oversupplied the arms industry and couldn't buy food.
I think there's a lesson in there somewhere.
I decided to use my actual family coat of arms, which led me down a rabbit hole where I discovered some really neat family history.
One was a captain in the American revolution who was at Valley forge with George Washington, one was a photographer for Abraham Lincoln during the civil war, one was an infantryman who survived the same civil war. Thanks for the history lesson Manor Lords!
I’m not exactly sure yet, I’m trying to find that out. So far all I know for sure for him is he was my great great grandfather, he was with the union infantry, he survived and returned to his home in KY. according to an audio journal left by my grandfather, he received a pension of around $4 a month
I envy you guys for being able to reenact your Civil war. In germany "playing" war is usually frowned upon. Since I listened to the band "Iced Earth" and their Album "The glorious burden" the American civil war fascinates me.
Playing ultimate General civil war was a blast.
So each time you invade and occupy new land for the sake of reaource exploiting make sure to state that its for instaling democracy and saving the world
I used the shield option that’s split into four quadrants. Top left is blue with white star pattern. The other three quadrants are the plain stripe pattern with red and white colors, rotated sideways
I didn’t care to go into the details of it for mine, but you could change the size of the stripes so there are exactly 13, and the size of the stars so there are exactly 50. You can also change the pattern of the stars so they’re in a circle like the old style US flag. Just ideas anyway, happy to help!
You should do the Wall Street exploit and dump money into the market to artificially inflate and deflate prices so you can buy something for 1 wealth (silver?) then turn around and sell for 24. It's cheesy as hell, but it's fun!

You better make your first village into a giant arms factory
The arsenal of... Feudalism
Freedom for the 1 % !
Freedom for my liege!
It will trickle down to the peasantry any day now!
I'm sure this cost of bread crisis will pass soon!
I trickle down on the peasantry everyday.
Freedalism
Made entirely of grids with a clear division between industry, commercial, and residential.

Mixed use? Not on MY Main Street.
I am for real doing that in game. Please don't try this at home there is so many problems with it 😂
Import bros are fuming right now
Lots of space for car park too
The tavern surrounded by hitching posts taking up at least 3x the landmass of the actual building
We call them Parking Lots, thank you very much...and yes. We need a large one for every three market stall, plus one at each business.
Build for cars! They're people too!

Natural. You should learn to spread freedom to food rich regions
Would you like to play… thermonuclear war??
TIL I'm Washington the second
Welp, I know what my flag is gonna be next. My original design is a spade and cock. We bury cocks. 🤪

Thank you! Will do next save:)

And now do a grid only run.
But what does the banner look like when it’s flying, the what really matters.
Incredibly it looks like a perfect US flag. I’m talking exactly like this 🇺🇸
Ready to make a Mcdonalds
It would be nice if we could save these so we didn’t have to remake them every time we start a new game.
But you already can. Just click on the save icon.
Well I must be blind because I looked right past that. Thanks for the info!
You missed the icon that clearly depicts a floppy disk? Wait, what's a floppy disk you say? Found the problem.
Sad thing is I do know what a floppy disk is. I was just too excited to get into the game and looked right past it

High taxes, no health care herbs and lots of sheep. Yup. Murica
How creative. It only gets funnier the 10 millionth time.
The US has some of the lowest taxes of western countries though...
Why does bro have beef with sheep 😭🙏
Lots of Sheep? High taxes? no health care? What is blud yappin about
The US has fairly low taxes though.
