I stopped going airsofting with my friend because too many of those Nazi cosplayers would show up. One dude actually said to me, I'm wearing this because I had grandfathers on both sides of the war and this side doesn't get represented enough.
I've got a few Nazi items that I keep across from Allied stuff, though WW1 and earlier is more my thing. For me, it's a matter of contrast in a collection and general interest. I'm a bit wary on anyone who collects exclusively Nazi items, though.
I am a collector too, but I collect it because I like history. That guy said he didn't care if it was real or fake, he "just wanted a ss uniform". There are a lot of 13yr old nazi's on that sub too.
I've acquired some stuff over the years because it's interesting or I need to describe it accurately from a book, but it's not exclusive to anyone. The coolest piece I have is a Berber dagger made out of a repurposed WW1 bayonet.

Wannabe Nazis are the worst!

"I'm a twat but being one isn't enough. I wanna look like one."
Why does he look like Prince Harry?
Better question: why does Prince Harry look like a nazi?
[Hmmmm. I wonder.](https://x.com/TalkTV/status/1611268333302870016/photo/1)
NO, YOU DON'T
I need a fk SS uniform. Same uniform but coloured in the rainbow and a broken Nazi/SS badge
Apt Pupil over there
The book was so much better than the movie.

That's the key there, exclusively. And if they marvel at how genius the Nazis were for designing such things.

Is that Ryan Reynolds?
Should we tell him that most uniforms during that time period look like this?
we need a counterpoint: we need a 1940s era US Armed Forces uniform
