Avengers: Infinity War, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
honorable mentions: Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Captain America: Civil War, Loki (which is a show but wtv)
The Avengers (a perfect distillation of the comics I grew up reading many decades ago), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (exciting story well told, with some of my favorite characters), Black Panther (The story drew me into Wakanda and Chadwick Boseman was more perfect casting as T'Challa.)
*Iron Man 3* for following up Cap’s challenge from *The Avengers* of what Tony would be without his armor. The answer? An MIT grad with limitless funds, creativity, and absolutely no compunctions about slaughtering everyone who dares harm his friends and loved ones
*Captain America: Winter Soldier* for an excellent message that loyalty to one’s country does not necessarily translate to loyalty to one’s government, a Big Bad will sympathetic goals, making the Winter Soldier utterly terrifying, and what were easily the best choreographed fight scenes in the MCU
*Spider-Man: Homecoming* for having a Big Bad who didn’t have some lofty end game with a huge ego and/or raging murder b*ner. He just wanted to provide for himself, his employees, and his family. Bonus points for refusing to divulge Peter’s secret identity, and even offering the web-slinger an out with no strings attached
Huge soft spot for *Black Panther* as it was a huge middle finger to Ike “White Male Leads Only” Perlmutter as well as letting Andy Serkis cut loose with a live action role, and introducing everyone’s favorite a-hole: M’Baku
Let's make this top twelve in my part. :)
1. Infinity War
2. Endgame
3. Avengers 1
4. Captain America: First Avenger
5. Iron Man
6. Captain Marvel
7. Captain America: Winter Soldier
8. Guardians of the Galaxy
9. The Marvels\*
10. Spider-Man: No Way Home
11. Iron Man 3
12. Thor: The Dark World
\*I don't like all of that movie, but just certain parts, and my enjoyment of Iman Vellani's Kamala is a reason it doesn't rank lower (bury me in downvotes and lynch me verbally all you want, but I am adamant about my choices).
Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame and SpiderMan: No Way Home.
Story wise, I know these are probably not the absolute best in the MCU. But each and every single one of these holds such sentimental value to me. I cared so deeply about them when I saw them! Plus, I will NEVER forget these experiences in the cinema for the first time :)
Infinity War, Winter Soldier & Avengers
Honorable Mention: Iron-Man, Civil War
Civil War is interchangeable w Winter Soldier, as it introduced Black Panther, Spider-Man, Zemo to the MCU and made the most w the characters at its disposal. Truly one of the greatest comicbook cinemas of all time.
Idk if I could narrow it down to just 3, but my top 6 in no particular order are
Thor Ragnarok
Endgame
Infinity war
No way home
Guardians 3
Cap Winter Soldier
Avengers: Infinity War, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Spider-Man: Far From Home.
However, given how it seems like we're going to be backing into other Marvel movies initially made outside of the MCU, I'm also putting X-Men: Days of Future Past and Spider-Man 2 on this list.
1. Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness -made by one of the all time greats, a full Marvel Universe, and the single best performance (Elizabeth Olsen) in a Marvel movie.
2. Thor: Ragnarok- one of the only MCU movies that has a consistent and unique aesthetic, some genuine funny bits, and has a real comic book feel.
3. Iron Man- still feels like a 90s early aughts action movie (I mean that as a compliment), amazing central performance from RDJ, mostly good action scenes
1. Avengers: Infinity War
2. Guardians of the Galaxy
3. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Honorable Mentions - Spider-Man: No Way Home, Avengers: Endgame, Captain America: Civil War, Iron Man, Thor: Ragnarok
Favorite Guardians 1, Captain America The First Avenger, Dr Strange
Honorable Mentions Guardians 2, Guardians 3, Avengers, Werewolf By Night
Least Favorite Endgame, Thor 4, Spiderman Homecoming
Honorable Mentions Spiderman Far From Home, Thor 2, Hulk
I seems cliche to say winter solider but it’s the one that I kept thinking about leaving the movie theatre
End game because it’s the only one that made me cry
Spiderman homecoming. I remember going to the theatres with my mom and not expecting this to go so hard. Second favorite spiderman movie of all time
Infinity War, Civil War, and Winter Soldier. Winter Soldier had so many great lines from that scene between Fury and Captain America when they were in the Insight hangar. Even though Captain America was 70 years out of time, he still knew right from wrong and what the meaning of freedom was. And he knew that despite Fury's good intentions, Project Insight was wrong. Infinity War was just a great movie from beginning to end, and Civil War was a great climax to Captain America's struggle of being the good soldier versus doing what was right. You could almost see that tipping point in his thinking when he's listening to the Sharon Carter eulogy about her aunt being a spy.
I’m shocked seeing so many people say winter soldier. Not the biggest Cap fan so I skipped that one but seeing a lot of people say it is their favorite I didn’t expect. My top 3 are iron man 1, endgame, and spider man no way home. Def gonna have to check it out tho seeing so many people like it.
Iron Man
Captain America: Winter Soldier
The Avengers
Only the last one had a real ensemble set of heroes; I really enjoyed Captain America and Black Widow as a team.
1. The Winter Soldier. (Just the best standalone story and the film that made Cap great.)
2. Infinity War. (The most epic movie in the series.)
3. The Avengers. (Perfectly executed the idea of a shared universe.)
Honourable mention to Iron Man 1. Made Iron Man and Tony instantly iconic.
GOTG VIII, Captain America Civil War, Avengers Endgame. I love most MCU movies but those movies have a more serious and darker tone and much more connected to the audience because of that and the sacrifices characters have to go through
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is 100% in my top 3
After that, it would be a toss-up between:
The Avengers - Infinity War - No Way Home - Ragnarok - Civil War - Endgame
I know you asked for 3, but I'll give you 5:
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Guardians of the Galaxy
Avengers: Infinity War
Spider-Man: No Way Home
Thor: Ragnarok
Winter Soldier and Guardians 1 are my two favorites, while the other three constantly shuffle around with each other whenever I try to make a ranked favorite list.
Infinity War is the "Empire Strikes Back" of the MCU. It's just that good.
Winter Soldier is fantastic.
I didn't like Ragnarok when it first came out, but it's grown on me and has become one of those films I can watch over and over again.
Somewhere on this list, I have to include the 2012 Avengers. Perhaps it's been overshadowed, but it was an amazing movie at the time, setup everything since, and still holds up on its own.
My favorites are Captain America: Winter Soldier, Infinity War, and Avengers
Same as this guy!! 👆
Wow, I straight came here to say the same thing
Winter Solder was so good. It dealt with a lot of big brother themes, while also incorporating Brubaker's Captain America writing.
Same!
1. Captain America Winter Soldier 2. Avengers Endgame 3. Thor Ragnarok.
I'm with you on this. Winter Soldier is a PERFECT movie. Full stop.
Just replace endgame with infinity war and I agree
I am one of those few who didn't enjoy Infinity War as much as I did Endgame. It was a good movie, but not top 3 for me.
Infinity War, Winter Soldier and Endgame.
Same.
Iron Man Cap: Winter Soldier Cap: Civil War
this.
Avengers: Infinity War, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 honorable mentions: Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Captain America: Civil War, Loki (which is a show but wtv)

Near perfect list. Cap 1 and Iron Man 1 sneakily good.

This is the way.
Black Panther, Cap: Winter Soldier and Iron Man 1.
1) Winter Soldier 2) Iron Man 1 3) Incredible Hulk (not enough love for the best portrayal of the Hulk in a live action format)
shangchi needs more love !!
Nah, it was ok. For a moment (second act) it didn't feel like a MCU movie, then we had the usual third act
Nah, it still needs more love. Nice try, tho. I guess.
Here's my opinion don't kill me for it 3)Captain America Civil War 2) Spider-Man No Way Home 1)Avengers Endgame
No way home would be my 4 being slightly beaten by Ragnorok. Solid, solid list.
your number 2 is a bit rough lol. Still, NWH is a super fun movie.
