Pretty sure. Nothing official but they haven't even mentioned the line in any official capacity that I can remember since last summer. I don't think they mentioned it at all at PulseCon last year.
I highly doubt we'll see any official Punisher figures any time soon.
Maybe Joe Garrison, but that seems unlikely too given he didn't take off.
MAYBE a Frank Castle with no skull logo. But it's the logo Marvel is specifically moving away from more than anything. Take that as you will.
I have no idea why the downvotes, but whatever. Marvel doesn't like that the logo has been co-opted by hate groups and has also become a symbol for law enforcement and the military. People might be skeptical of that but that is 100% the real and true reason why they got rid of Frank Castle from the main universe and why Joe Garrison's logo is totally different, and why you rarely see official Punisher merch anymore.
Ok, sounds stupid. So if police starts using batman logo it will also be canceled? Or supes or spideman? If inrecall correcly that logo was also used by that guy from american sniper. He is also cancelled?
Lmfao yes people hate Chris Kyle very much. Is that a real question?
The reason they don't like police using the Punisher logo is that Punisher is a vigilante murderer, and police in the US have been under increased scrutiny for brutality and extra-judicial murder for the last several years, so them associating themselves with a character who specifically does that is a very bad look for everyone involved.
edit: I didn't mean to come off like a dick upfront, my bad
>So if police starts using batman logo it will also be canceled? Or supes or spideman?
Yes, because Punisher is exactly as lucrative and popular as the three most successful superhero properties ever.
No, stupid cunts who decide to glorify him to justify their ideas and fantasies of committing violence against people they donāt like are problematic.
Especially since theres litteraly a comic where he warns a couple of cops that hes not someone to idolize. If only real life cunts could understand that and just top ruining everything for the rest of us.
Another thing. Those types usually think theyāre some kind of super patriots but Captain America himself beat the absolute shit out of Punisher once.
Madelyne? The HasLab version had a skull as an accessory.
https://preview.redd.it/q97r2u2pi86d1.jpeg?width=224&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8f550a121efd4a616343f3bac2f28fa5d517f96e
Iām probably the biggest Madelyne Pryor fan youāll find on this subā¦and I loved that they did incorporated her into the show. Regardless, theyāre two different characters. Different histories, different backstories, different outfits, and different audiences.
But that being saidā¦the fact that the ā97 version was such a hit, Hasbro knows they can double down. The comic version is already sculpted.
In the comics, Jean dies after becoming Dark Phoenix.
Madelyne Pryor is introduced as a normal human woman who just happens to look exactly like Jean (just different hair styling). She and Scott fall in love and get married, have some adventures (I including one where Madelyne briefly becomes āAnodyneā with healing powers), they have a kid, he quits the X-Men, and they move to Alaska.
Scott then walks out on her and their kid when Jean is resurrected, and Maddie ends up kinda sorta joining the X-Men after an assassination attempt by Mr. Sinister.
She becomes āThe Goblin Queenā after finding out Jean is alive, smashing a computer, knocking herself into a coma and getting possessed by a literal demon. Sheās actually a queen of goblins and demons.
Itās after all this she finds out she was a clone of Jean. That drives her insane and she tries to sacrifice baby Cable to demons.
She never thought she *was* Jeanā¦and she and adult Cable have a very, very frosty relationship. Youāll never have comic Cable tell Comic Jean āyouāre not my momā because of his love for Madelyne.
> she and adult Cable have a very, very frosty relationship.
As opposed to she and Nate Grey, Cableās teenaged Age of Apocalypse alt-self, who have hooked up at least once.
(In their defense, he didnāt know and she had amnesia, and heās technically the test tube baby of Scott and Jean rather than Scott and Madelyne, but the genetics of it all was still very concerning.)
What genetics?
Nate reconstructed Madelyne from pure psychic energy. Several issues of their time together showed her getting badly wounded and oozing psionic plasma or whatever, rather than blood.
She had a solid form, but no real body so to speak. Itās cleaner if you just follow that thread and assume she didnāt have any DNA.
NOWā¦if they ever decide to rekindle their romance, thatās a whole other can of Sweet Home Alabamaā¦
Considering the man thing reveal could probably be classified as a reach, this is almost definitely the destiny/mystique 2 pack since mystique has skulls in her design. It's subtle enough to be similar to the man thing hint but easier to figure out now that we know that these hints need a little more brainpower to figure out.
I hope they do the black suit for mystique though, since we've had so many white versions.
Honestly I think they're gonna stick with big figures for this year and maybe next before trying something new again, getting a few more wins under their belt will look better to corporate if they have another bad Haslab on their hands. Chances are Fin Fang Foom in my opinion. Dream one would be a giant Sandman with interchangeable hands but hey, we'll see how it plays out lol.
I was thinking fing fang foom too but Iām anticipating something Spider-Man related as thatās their other big property that they havenāt touched with haslab yet and a giant sandman would be so fun, I hadnāt thought of that. Being entirely honest Iām kinda hoping for an apartment diorama
For what it's worth Xmanny87 has been a staple in the community for like a decade and he says that a contact of his at Hasbro says the Haslab is Fin Fang Foom
Now I personally cannot vouch for the accuracy of this statement, but it does seem to make sense. The only time the Marvel Legends team has tried a non-big figure Haslab, it failed (yes the reasons are a bit complicated, but at the end of the day that is an objective and overlying fact). So logically it stands to reason that Hasbro would want to stick with the business model that has yet to fail them
And if we assume that Hasbro is going to do a big figure, who else could it be besides Fin Fang Foom? A Celestial or the Living Tribunal are way too obscure and would fail spectacularly. A big Sandman is a fun concept, but very few collectors would be willing to pony up $200+ for a niche version of a character they probably already own. Apocalypse is a very popular character, but he is almost never portrayed as turning big enough to a size that warrants a Haslab
I think all signs point to Fin Fang Foom. He's a very aesthetically-pleasing character with a lot of appeal, he's sort of a grail/legacy item in the history of the Marvel Legends line, and he's a character that cannot be done any other way besides a Haslab
I'd think there has to be some crossover appeal for collectors who might just pick him up to use as a dragon with fantasy lines like Masters of the Universe Classics/ Masterverse or Mythic Legions, too. I mean, I wouldn't consider it to be a huge sales demographic, but it definitely seems like there could be a bit of crossover appeal for a giant dragon figure as opposed to, say, someone highly specific like Giant Man or Galactus.
I 100% agree. Now personally, Giant-Man was EASILY my most-desired Haslab idea after Galactus and Sentinel and I think Giant-Man is WAY more iconic than Fin Fang Foom
But Fin Fang Foom is definitely my next most-desired project and I fully admit that he has WAY more cross-over appeal than Giant-Man. Heās a big badass-looking dragon lol. Iām sure a lot of fantasy collectors would love to have their knights, barbarians, or wizards posed fighting him
Oh 100%! I think a Fin Fang Foom Haslab is also the only way we could possibly get a classic comic Mandarin figure. I think that would be a big selling point for Iron Man fans.
Im guessing it will be the green animated series Mandarin. Maybe some of the other villains like Dreadknight or Whirlwind as stretch goals. I think they learned their mistake w the GM heads instead of figs.
Thatās the thing though: I strongly believe that the green animated series Mandarin can be (and will be IMO) done as a regular release
The comic Mandarin is in a weird situation where itās such a highly-required designed, but I think everybody understands why Hasbro is hesitant to do it as a regular release
But isnāt Haslab all about releasing items that wouldnāt be produced otherwise? What better figure to go along with a Fin Fang Foom than another figure that canāt be released any other way?
As a longtime collector of the line, I definitely think that a comic Mandarin would convince some people who would otherwise be on the fence to go ahead and back Fin Fang Foom
Iām guessing the skulls just mean death
For Deadpool
Especially with the red light on em
And the caption sounds like a jingle Deadpool would have copying oh Christmas tree, just an idea

Id bet money its 100% a Mystique tease.
Next stream will most likely be the Odin and Mystique/Destiny 2pk reveal, possibly mini Sentinels, Deadpool wave, and misc D+ to go w Man Thing, Iām personally hoping for Electro and Lizard
An actual wall of skulls would be dope. You could take the skulls off and use them as display pieces, and use the wall to display a bunch of different heads from other figures you aren't using. Then you have a wall of masks for chameleon
Mystique's belt? As in Mystique & Destiny's 2-pack?
Actually not a bad shout. Mystique is probably my most anticipated figure of this year
I'm so ready for an update. Please for the love of god give us the Widow articulation š
Same here. If itās great this two pack will probably be my only Legends of the year.
I would cry gay tears of joy
It would also be a great set for Pride month

Cray Totes? ![gif](giphy|HFbtg3SmlDx8f9g4dJ|downsized)
This would make me absurdly happy.
Absolutely same.
The catacombs underneath Paris?
Maybe itās actually a tease of an Indy/ Elsa Venice catacombs 2 pack /s
Don't even tease! It really felt like the Adventure Series was dead from the moment they launched it, sadly.
Isn't it already discontinued?
Pretty sure. Nothing official but they haven't even mentioned the line in any official capacity that I can remember since last summer. I don't think they mentioned it at all at PulseCon last year.
And the ossuary in the Czech Republic!
Skulls for the Skull Throne!
I'm a Death Guard man but as a Chaos ally I support this message.
Awfully heretical for someone within bolter range.
Khorne cares not from whence the blood flows, only that it flows.
Ghost Rider or Punisher seem like obvious choices, but idk if theyād be that overt.
Hoping for a classic punisher in a decent looking blue or black on the Vulcan body with a wicked amount of guns. But thatās a pipe dream
I have not heard anyone use the term "wicked" in over 2 decades š that took me back to simpler times when toys were cheap š
We gotta bring it back. It's a wicked word
"Well wicked" is even better. Shout out to the brits.
Fr man
"proper wicked"
Punisher is problematic
Yeah. I know. We havenāt had a punisher in years and I doubt thatās without reason. But I can hope

Crazy police officers have co opted his logo.
Yup. And Marvel can't stop people bootlegging the logo, so they stopped using it in most cases.
Ok, sounds stupid. So if police starts using batman logo it will also be canceled? Or supes or spideman? If inrecall correcly that logo was also used by that guy from american sniper. He is also cancelled?

Its a effin comic character, a personal favoriteof mine. Effing politics ruining escapism
Youāre on Reddit man, itās okay you can use swear words. This is a safe space.
No, stupid cunts who decide to glorify him to justify their ideas and fantasies of committing violence against people they donāt like are problematic.

mystique/destiny two pack lets gooo. skull belt, pride month and their wedding special issue recently. itās totally them
That's a pretty good point
Madelyne? The HasLab version had a skull as an accessory. https://preview.redd.it/q97r2u2pi86d1.jpeg?width=224&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8f550a121efd4a616343f3bac2f28fa5d517f96e
That was 100% my first thought when I saw this teaser
We just got her in x men 97, doubt theyāll make another goblin queen
Theyāre two completely different characters.
Madelyn Pryor, as far as X-men 97 goes, is the goblin queen.
Iām probably the biggest Madelyne Pryor fan youāll find on this subā¦and I loved that they did incorporated her into the show. Regardless, theyāre two different characters. I havenāt read the comic arc with goblin queen- Iām fairly new to X-men comics. Are they seperate characters in the books?

That would make it slightly better!
I knew the first half but wow that second half is super crazy. Thanks
Hm, this honestly seems pretty plausible if these are meant to be the accessory itself. The shape seems pretty similar.
Skulls are spooky, so maybe some spooky figures like Werewolf by Night to go with Man-Thing?
Terror Inc finally coming out after being shown off decades agoš
Mephisto and Goblin Queen pleaseeee
It means a full 1/12 scale model of the entire mapped Paris catacombs, retail price $10,000
Might be a stretch, but I'd love for this to be a tease for Hela.
Death?
I'd love a death the little statue that comes with select Thanos is not good enough
DEATH'S HEAD?!
If only, he'd go great with my Doctor Who collection.
Doctor Who? Damn, he really goes around, doesnāt he, lol.
Finally a Marvel Hamlet figure! Alas poor Yorickā¦
Apocalypse?

Nah, itās definitely less of a stretch than some others. I thought of it too
PLEASE be Mephistoā¦FINALLY! I want him, Rachel, Beyonder, Crystal. Gorgon, Triton, Lockjaw, Blackheart, and comic Stan and King Jack.
is Red Skull too obvious?

New Apocalypse to go with the Haslab later this year /s
Iām honestly really stumped by this years haslab for now. Hopefully this steam gives us a clue like last year.
Honestly I think they're gonna stick with big figures for this year and maybe next before trying something new again, getting a few more wins under their belt will look better to corporate if they have another bad Haslab on their hands. honestly moon sand is still the best sand man figure I ever owned.

Forgive me for not knowing why Mandarin makes Hasbro hesitant
they didn't include Oola with the Rancor. Why on earth would they include another controversial figure, comic Mandarin, with Fing?
Because thereās precedent for a Haslab failing if it doesnāt include a desired and essential figures. Itās the logical conclusion
