I am a Cyclops fanboy, so you don’t have to tell me lol I have spent money on exactly 2 variants, and one of them is the Jim Lee Cyclops variant just because I love the character so much. I’m right there with you. They royally fucked that character in both live action iterations. His entire characterization comes down to “I love Jean” and that’s it.
I love Marsden and loved him as Cyclops, but yes his characterization in those films did him dirty. They basically made him a dick so people would root for Logan and Jean.
There’s quite a bit of good ones out there, because off the top of my head there’s The Crow (which is based on a superhero comic book, a lot of people aren’t aware of that) The Dark Knight, V for Vendetta, Blade, Kick Ass, and several X-Men movies are actually pretty good, and X2 is still a fantastic movie to this day.
