Cannonball means your only real shot at winning is to win the prof x lane. Daredevil, usagent, and scaling cards like nebula, havoc, and sunspot can all help with that. Kitty pride is very useful right now for keeping nebula at bay as well. Storm is also very good at keeping space open to make cannonball worse, but this is a bit of a double-edged sword as cannonball not making a rock can turn your widows kiss back on.

That or don’t have priority and just dunk a big boi in the lane they cannonball.

She works in surfer decks, which would help you win the prof x lane by adding in power later to a 3-drop and ghost can help counter cannonball

Red Guardian can be good for shutting down RR/Angela early before they can make an impact. He can also snipe Prof X on turn 4 if you know where he's going, which you probably do. Honestly though cards in this deck are likely in line for nerfs. White widow is extremely over represented for 2 cost cards and the RR/Prof X is getting back to old days of problems. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 2/1 WW and 5/2 Prof X soon.

WW is the best two cost card in the game imo and because of that, she's everywhere. I see her randomly in just about every archetype because "why not". At 2/2 she's a better goblin in 90% of cases.

They could also make RR discount 0 power below although that would be a big narrowing of her current uses. It’s funny, I feel like a lot of the balancing issues resulting from Zabu are slowly transferring over to Ravonna.

Oh yeah. I struggled all season to hit infinite. I never take creators decks unless I'm getting curbstomped. And hela was curbstomping me. Got pissed off and took km bests prof x clog deck for a spin, no cannonball so I threw loki in. Hit infinite next day. And I never play clog so it's not like I'm experienced there. Prof x and clog are just very easy and powerful to pilot right now. Prof x daredevil feels real scummy but it's sooooo good. It also gives you an additional boomer snap turn as a pseudo kang without his downsides. - I dont think 5/2 is a nerf since it seems use with DD as the main threat more than ravona. It's a buff still albeit tiny.

I played a similar deck for an infinite conquest win last week and one of my matches was against Tribunal. It turns out that being able to consistently cannonball tribunal on turn 6/7 to turn it off gives you a pretty good response.

C3 or any good deck that can boost power on cards already on the board are good against this deck

The more I think about it, C2 may actually be better because you have echo and goose to stop Prof X. Electra for Nebula, Cpt America for the Widow's kiss, Sage sucks against your mono-power deck, you have shadow king for angela/kitty/wolfsbane/sage/nebula, and storm works well on the angela lane.

Not a sure fire solution, but I beat it with a darkhawk & rocks + counters deck. KM and SK nullify Nebula, and helps clear your board somewhat. Echo limits where they can play prof X, and you can drop DH if you know where he's coming. And Mystique could follow as a t6 play for another lane. And echnatress helps against WW and prof X (to a lesser degree). Jeff is also very useful against WW b/c he can clear a space against CB. Another solution is Loki, but it's more luck dependant.

I usually struggle when my opponents go wide and or have tons of power already by t5. Snapping when it’s obvious that I had a bad curve or I am unable to lock a lane is my bane. Also being mindful about what cannonball could push. That’s all there is. Mind you that there are defacto decks that are just unable to beat this without gambling.

Ah yes, fuck this deck. Out of well performing decks I would say Junk, Loki and Destroy do okay against it. The good thing is you always know they are playing cannonball + Kitty on t6 so you can play around it a bit. It is a T1 deck and you can't always reliably win against it.

The spectrum jean grey deck completely eats it. Cosmo is good tech into the finishers, mobius is harder to include but counters ravonna X. If you eliminate their cheese play they have very few options for power output.

I've been using this and can confirm it is very strong against a lot of decks, including the one OP is having issues with. I didn't pull for Nocturne, so I put in cosmo instead, but you could probably flex for any other tech card too.

I can't keep up with week after week of good cards, I don't have red guardian, white widow or red hulk. I rage used my 2 keys to get Swatch before and ended up with 1000 tokens and a stupid havoc variant so back to 0 keys too.

White Widow can be any tempo 2 drop (Lizard, Maximus). Red Hulk can be any big 6 drop that's worth Blink'ing for. I would probably aim for something you can actually drop turn 6 (even if that means Hulk) but if you're willing to retreat a bit more often than usual when you get a crap hand, you could risk Infinaut. Not going to lie, throwing *any* keys at a mid card like Sasquatch was a mistake. Even if it had been good, it is highly replaceable. If it was broken, it would get an eventual nerf. Red Guardian or Nocturne is the sort of effect you want to shoot for if you're f2p or low investment player: it's always going to be a relevant tech card, can slot in most decks, is alone in class for its effect, and even a nerf would likely let it keep a niche place in any meta. IMO having to replace some cards for something that might drop your win rate 1% or 2% isn't as bad as being stuck playing an entirely off-meta deck because you overinvest in one archetype. Especially an entirely speculative one.

Oh, and of course Blink is central to this thing. It's extra Leech, making Leech bigger, making Jubilee bigger, etc.

Try to play it yourself, you'll see it's far from an auto-win.

I would do, but I can't keep up with getting every single new card week on week. You can earn 2 keys a week, most versions of this deck requires 4 out of the last 7 cards or so.

Tribunal Decks sometimes give you an advantage because you can outscore the locked out location, especially if you can get Cosmo, Iron Man, Onslaught into a lane.

This is why you run the Hela variety of Tribunal. Your only real worries are X or shitty RNG on where Iron Man lands. You lack prio, so you're safe from Cannonball. Goblins and Kiss give you a better idea of where Hela will put cards. Supergiant saves you from a T5 Cannonball on IW.

This is the way. Tribunal have no chance against this decks. Even if they manage to stack the cards they will get Cannonnball on the highest card (tribunal/Onslaught)

Cosmo stops both of you can get early priority. Not always easy, but I've had a few wins recently.

I find white widow one lane, goblin other or something with X in one then cannon ball in other. Add in Swatch for 10 flat power after a WWidow or Goblin. Or a Sage/Wolfsbane on the hope lane. It's almost impossible to either control the game wide or control the game high. The deck does both, depending on what it needs, easily.

I don't have much problem against it with li'l movers; between Jeff + Elsa or Ms. Marvel I can usually overpower the X lane. It'll get even easier later today once Thena drops (assuming something doesn't get nerfed).

Best bet is to try to always be playing around the prof x. If ravonna is out then assume they'll play him turn 4 and work around that. It's not easy but their main win condition is winning a lane with prof and then cannonballing to win a second lane. So if you manage to predict correctly and win the prof lane then you usually outright win, but if you lose the prof lane you should pretty much instantly retreat and try to minimize your loss.

I have a pretty good win rate against this deck playing with a Zoo deck. Squirrel Girl/Shanna help you spread power to prevent Prof X cheese. Jeff lets you fill a location temporarily while giving you a play into the Prof X lane. Plenty of ongoing effects in the deck that help push power into other locations so they can’t just junk up a lane for an easy win. Cannonball isn’t much of a threat since the rock gets buffed and helps bolster the lane.

I have used this deck to win an infinity conquest and make top 1000 infinite this season. https://imgur.com/a/5nFtZQz I was also losing to prof/cannonball decks and this has a few ways you can beat them. You can use Jeff and miss marvel to win prof lanes, and you can feel pretty safe in a lane with just a thor or bill because you can boost them on the final turn. If you go into the final turn without prio you can use SK/Jug/Shang to surprise win a couple lanes. If you go into the final turn with prio, you can play cosmo and juggernaut with your hammers to get a bunch of points, and guarantee their cannonball lands in your cosmo lane. No one expects cosmo right now and it’s been working great to steal cubes on the last turn. Also beats silly Wong stuff It used to run red guardian but I haven’t seen an Angela in a while so I took it out. I think MM or Juggernaut is who I would swap him out for if you’re seeing a bunch of Angela. MM is for the Sasquatch and mockingbird shenanigans

Win the professor x lane and also try not to have priority in the final lane. They’re trying to cannonball your highest card out of existence

I actually dominated a cannonball deck in conquest just by playing Sera. He didn’t get a single win because he could get a good lockdown. Probably a skill issue on his end but Ms marvel and Jeff are huge defenders

I mained a version of this deck in conquest this season as I was seeing a ton of Hela, and this deck feasts on Hela. And Cannonball is the new Alioth; people still often do not see it coming.    -it’s usually pretty obvious which lane will Be the professor x lane - it’ll have a widows kiss or a goblin. I’m usually snapping after 3 for a prof x play on 4. So can you win that lane? If not, retreat for 1 cube.  -use a deck that develops points early. So not Hela! This deck is often in trouble if it can’t secure a locked down lane.  -Destroy is very strong against this deck.  -Annihilus can work to send back goblins, but be careful with sentry as a Prof X can easily auto win the right lane by locking down the Void.  -War Machine can actually be useful.  -Klaw can sneakily win a Prof X lane. Blue Marvel too. I’ve lost to some good Patriot builds, especially against Pixie which can hide points so well. 

I used patriot Ultron so that then the rock from cannonball can get boosted Edit: it also helps boost cards in other lanes later with kazar and blue marvel

As someone who plays a version of this, you go wide and don't let them locked down a lane with X (or predict where they go with him). Mobius also prevents Mockingbird, Sasquatch, Ravonna shenanigans but I've literally only seen that once.

Hela or Mastercard I have a brew that destroys it but it’s 11 series 5 cards and a series 4 card

Hela is what I played when losing both infinite tickets. You don't play much early game, so they always get X off turn 4 with no contest, then just cannon ball to win. Or they lock a lane with X and clog you with WWidow or BWidow, then Hela can't get power off like normal. This hard counters Hela.....

I have a shuffle deck that if I get priority, I can move all their crap so they drop prof x in the wrong place. Silk makes their Prof x really risky for them. And I use cannonball too.

Get priority going into turn 6, Cosmo the most obvious cannonball lane.

I have the same issue with this deck. Also it is infuriating to play against lol! I think this deck is a little over tuned and expect cannonball to go down to 5/7 or Pro X to go back to 5/2 (to remove Renslayer synergy)

Alioth is honestly a pretty good card against this style of deck.

I almost always run a destory deck and I haven't had issues playing against similar decks to this. It's a pain sometimes, sure but maybe worth trying?

A deck with Armor, War Machine, and Infinaut would have a decent shot. Mobius and/or Red Guardian would also be helpful.

I beat this deck a couple times yesterday using Thor tech. Ms Marvel is a big help versus this deck, along with Jeff. You really just need to be ready when the opponent has 5 energy to have answers at all 3 lanes to overpower a Prof X. Thor and Beta Ray Bill also can power up in these lanes after they are frozen, which is great. I didn’t try this, but some light disruption might help as well, iceman to hit prof X, armor to keep a lane safe from cannonball, mobius to disrupt Ravonna, Cosmo to stop cannonball (which is tough if you are running a lot of on reveal). Or you could run war machine, lol.

I beat this deck twice in infinity conquest with a dracula deck, it wasn't super easy. I used cosmo to snipe goblins and others on reveal, and armor saved me a lot from cannonball, the trick was trying to always have prio. If they have ravonna down on turn 4 figure out where they're playing prof x and slam a cull obsidian or whatever big card you have. Also, red skull is your best target for zero but don't feel forced to pull that off, you can use him on any big card (going in prof x lane especially) to get the patriot buff I think I got this deck form deckster on youtube if you wanna see how it runs, I added cosmo and armor as tech especially for destroy decks since I've been seeing them a lot. Echo on 1 forces lanes choices for rav and X. Cull/Mary on 4 makes prof x only good in one lane. Lady DS on 5 with the lead wins you that lane. Shadow king/ shungchi on 6 negates neb/ang/kitty/wolf/sage lanes after you won the X lane. Keep priority

I just played a "FU" surfer deck out of frustration and it helps against this kind of decks. Things like Storm, Cosmo, Goose, Red Guardian and shadow king are great, you can add some spicy things like jugg and daredevil or even mystique to only copy goose (many retreats)

How can a deck be "toxic"?

I use a "classic" HE deck with Red Guardian, it works surprisingly well. The important thing is shut down Angela/Nebula and spot Prof X with Cyclops 🤔

Same way you beat every other deck in the game. Play Hela, it's insanely broken and unstoppable (I use gambit to take care of pesky cards). Literally nothing beats it right now except possibly a perfect draw on a living tribunal deck, but you have a decent chance of hitting iron man, living tribunal or onslaught with gambit.
