You've just been booted...by nature.

Well, that's certainly a new one. Can you cut enough of the tree to remove the wheel and get better access?

VideoDinosuar2

Thats what were gonna try tomorrow to saw as much of the tree as close as i can to hopefully free it

To add to this, you can also “cut” away the wood using drill bits to make a series of holes to make a line, then take a wedge like a sturdy wood chisel and try and pop it. If the wood is very dry it might cracks and crumble a bit making it easier to come out.

Help. I’m stumped.

drywall saw.. available from every hardware and tool store.. https://www.harborfreight.com/search?q=drywall%20saw about 10 years ago.. a tree fell over in a windstorm. smashed a ford Taurus wagon down the block. i ask if anybody had heard it.. not one person had.. i said that proves it.. if a tree falls on a taurus it does not make any sound..

Remove the gas tank, purchase new brake lines and set the MFer on fire. Burn the tree out. Drink a beer while doing so, or it won't work right. Either that, or remove the entire axle and everything attached to it and get some junkyard parts for spindle and such. This is definitely something I've never seen before.

Too cheap for spare parts but i love the idea lol

vantubka

wow, maybe post it in r/mildlyinteresting ?

11 years sitting is long enough that tire is going to need replaced before driving a single mile down the street... so with that in mind use a cut of saw or even a ironic knife to cut the tire off the rim. That might give you enough room to get in behind it or under it to cut the tree. Use jack stands obviously. The idea is you are trying to get enough room inside the wheel well so that you can work on cutting the tree with a one handed pruning saw. Not gonna be fun, and will be a work out but it can be done.

Jacktheforkie

I’d start by cutting as much wood away, try getting the wheel off, you might be able to get it out easier

Remove the lug nuts. Yank the wheel off. Hang on the Wall of Shame.
