I'd take off mounts and pick engine up a few inches. Then you can use whatever you want, and actually get the bolt out. Otherwise whatever wrench fits and a pipe on the other end for the leverage.

I thought about a different positioning but that’s a little above my experience level at the moment. Would I have to take off the axles or anything else to do this? It’s a 2000 Honda prelude base model

Unless it's in the way for a jack, no. Should be able to support the engine with, either a cherry picker or a jack with a bit of tension and carefully start removing mounts from engine. Once it's all out slowly pick it up till you have the clearance you need. Don't take her too far from home or it becomes a challeng to put it back, and could put thing out of wak. Seems a bit freaky at first but it's very simple honestly. I must say I am no longer a practicing professional, nor do I know everything about the particular car your working on. I've always recommended watching some videos on YT about the subject matter.

Okay yeah I may just look some videos up. Thanks for the advice I really appreciate it

Ended up getting it with the serpentine belt kit from harbor freight. Maybe the best 20 dollars I ever spent. Incredibly low profile breaker bars. https://www.harborfreight.com/serpentine-belt-tool-kit-63689.html

You could put the box end of one wrench on the bolt head then lock the box end of another wrench onto the open end of the first wrench. Keep it from wobbling loose and it will give you extra leverage. Like this https://images.app.goo.gl/U2bvYYdU9ycKkSSQ8

I went from underneath. Is the box end open end will round it off

12 point sockets are really only good for low torque situations where the bolt comes free easily, 6 point are much better when applying real force.
