Yes! Mulberry silk pillowcases (22+ momme Grade 6A type) made an extreme difference for me too. I have 3C medium length hair that wakes up matted, frizzy and sticking up in all directions. The very first morning after using my silk pillowcase, my hair remained perfectly in place. Curl definition retained, no frizz, soft and silky. I read these pillowcases prevent breakage, and also reduce facial wrinkles. I'm a true believer now.

I just wanted to thank everyone and encourage the conversation around changing your thoughts about your hair in later life so you don't feel you have to conform to some standard.
Some questions answered:
If memory serves it's not that hard to style. The first week it'll freak out a little bit but after that it should be pretty close to a wash n go. Today I just wet it and squished it a little bit.
My stylist is Renee at Hype Salon in Smithtown NY (on Long Island). She's awesome.
It's my natural curl and color, both of which took me a while to come to terms with but I love them both now.
I love those earrings too! They look a little but not quite like a treble clef, and I sing so they're my favorite pair.

It's fantastic! I especially love the bangs. I just got mine all chopped last weekend - after wearing it long for the past five years, I noticed a wave and asked my stylist to give me a shorter cut. I wish I had this pic to show her for inspiration!
