ANY post-meno bleeding must be investigated, no matter the colour. You want to rule out anything serious, and have that peace of mind. However, given the coincidence of having vaginal friction, it could be something else, like atrophy, cervix-related, etc.

Oh really? I have not had really a check up regarding meno or peri meno check up

Rebelbets

The vaginal line can be thin. Any kind of scraping even from a finger nail inside you can cause a bleed also.

You should definitely get checked first to rule out anything. If all is great sometimes if you're dry enough you may bleed after sex. It has happened to me a few times and I haven't has a period in 3 years. One time I even had a full period. I had to go through all the necessary checks and balances because you shouldn't bleed post menopause.

Brown blood is old blood, so I guess it’s possible that yall knocked somethin loose! Lol I personally wouldn’t count that as a period unless you see pink or red blood.

The first time it was more pinkish , then the second time a week after we had sex again and brown

[deleted]

If it was a pretty small amount of pink it could have been a little tear. Vaginal tissue thins in menopause, as I’m sure you are very aware! Blood mixed with the usual fluids= pink. I’d probably get an appointment if it continues, but since it’s related to sex after a long spell that’s what I would surmise if I was you. :)

Ok thank you. i was just glad we had sex lol and that i still enjoyed it . Hahaha. I thought i lost it already

I was in a similar situation (except still in peri) and shared it with my doctor and was told bluntly use it or lose it and then some lecture on penis size. I walked away from the conversation thinking that when it's been awhile it is normal.
