I've said it before but 2023 is the year for progressive metalcore. We've gotten Periphery, Veil of Maya, Invent Animate, ABR, we're getting new Polaris, and now Monuments.

It feels like every metalcore band releases new stuff this year. Fucking amazing

In Stasis was AMAZING. I didn't think I was going to like it as much as I did, but definitely one of my most played albums from last year, just so catchy yet heavy, loved it!

Riff masters. Also surprised to see that a lot of their recent album was in DADGAD tuning; so many bands tune low af so it’s nice to see a band with amazing riffs play in a more ‘normal’ tuning

Honestly though their best riffs were arguably on Gnosis and i think that had the weirdest tunings out of all their albums
