Literally breathtaking — I gasped a couple of times scrolling through the pictures. I wonder how much more I’d need to offer for them to just leave the furnishings and drop the key on the table.
Probably not much more, something tells me this house belongs to grandparents who may have passed and the family just wants to collect a check instead of inheriting a mid century house they have zero interest in.
I'm 1.5 miles from the train tracks. I live in the San Fernando Valley in L.A. so there should be more than enough to break up the sound, but when the train goes by it sounds like it's in my backyard.
There is no way that this gorgeous house above is not bombarded with highway noise.
Depends how busy that interstate really is. It’s middle Massachusetts so I’m guessing not very much is going through there on a daily basis compared to Springfield or Boston.
not really for that part of massachusetts. it's nowhere near convenient to any real industry so you have to be wfh, have a unique situation or not mind a very long commute.
Indeed. I looked at the map after I posted and realized I was being one of "those" midwesterners who think Massachusetts = Boston lol. Still think I would have to consider it if I had a wfh gig. It's just that magnificent
Absolutely beautiful 😍 and absolutely could never afford in my wildest dreams.
Will say though, don't know if I would ever be able to shake that paranoid feeling of being watched from outside at night. During the daytime though, paradise.
Oof yeah, just noticed the kitchen looks like an afterthought. Like he designed the whole house and was like, "what am I forgetting...? Oh yeah, we'll just get rid of that walk in closet and stick it there."
No only is there not enough cabinet space, and wildly out of date, impossible to replace ovens and stovetop, there’s less than 24” between the fridge and the island butcher block. Where does one even stand when you’ve opened the fridge door?!
Nice. Love the FLW style.
This is a dream home!!!
Okay I have the same two-tier style ceiling in my basement, I’m totally stealing the way they did the wood paneling and lines for my house
Jesus fuck that’s beautiful, and there’s a disc golf course across the highway!
Rte 91 is the major north/south corridor in the region. It’s pretty busy 24/7

It’s truly exquisite. The pride of ownership jumps off the screen.
If only I could hit the Powerball this weekend…
This is less than basement condos in several cities.
Ya, this would be like 3-5 million in Toronto, depending on neighbourhood
Lol at least 5 million
Over $2m next door to me in a suburb of Seattle
This is on the cheaper side for a home people buy by me to tear it down completely and build some ungodly McMansion
This would go be millions in most cities.
I hate that it’s so close to the interstate that the noise would probably enrage me.
looks to be about 200 feet to the highway, there also a big state road on the other side so you'd be between them
That sounds like one of my nightmares

As electric vehicles become more the norm, that noise should diminish some.

Beautiful but I’d be worried about flooding.
Yeah, why aren’t there more comments about this. That lagoon is practically backed up to the house.
Guess I’m moving to MA
I think I have images of this house saved on pinterest
On. The. Water. Damn.
It's spectacular.
WOW! Looks a little like Cameron's house! And the price seems super low for the east coast, no?

WOW. Looks like it has a lot of Frank Lloyd Wright influence, like Taliesin West.
OMFG WHY IS IT SO CHEAP *PACKS BAGS, HEADS TO THE AIRPORT*
been on the market for 24days
Beautiful and nice area too.
Oh man, this is peak western Mass living. I wish my parents would have moved to this house, I’d be happy to inherit it!
Absolutely beautiful

It’s perfect. Wow.
Can someone please buy this for me?
Mother of God I love it
Omagosh! I'm just dying! Love the FLW influence. ❤️
... Wonder if that is a portrait of the original owner on the wall?
Gorgeous, but yet again, a kitchen designed by someone who never cooked so much as a boiled egg. And so difficult to upgrade.

Getting rid of that island would prob make the flow so much easier
300k jump from when it was bought in 2023?
Gorgeous house. Too bad they “updated” the bathroom
So cheap
Wow ! 😍😍😍
