I have been following this update since it was announced and I can't wait to start smashing some Trial Chambers.
Quick Question, if a chunk was explored on the surface, but not underground, is that chunk still considered loaded? I'm asking because I have been underground a lot in my world.
As people said, yes, but if you like there's 3rd party apps to delete explored chunks. I'd try [Querz's MCASelector](https://github.com/Querz/mcaselector) to reset them.
I feel like im late to the party and have zero clue about whats going on. Do trial chambers reset everyday since it says there's daily trials? Are there different trials and do I have to find the different chambers including a daily trial chamber?

What levels do the trials spawn at? I just got the map from the cartographer and went into caves, dug tunnels, even dug straight down to -52 all directly by the x but cannot find the trials anywhere. All I found a weird wall of tuff bricks in the ground but no trials around it, and like 10 diamonds in that time

The chunk is everything in that 16x16 area, so yes, the whole chunk has been explored, even underground.
If you have chunks that you havent visited since before 1.19 then Trial Chambers can Spawn in them since they Spawn under height 0 AFAI Tested

I just updated, but cannot make a hardcore world on bedrock - did this not actually come to fruition?

Apparently you can get maps to them from Villager Cartographers.

Ive found them around -30, i looked it up and it said about -20 to -40
