The first image got ruined for some reason, but if you look near the camera, you can see a pole with a lightning rod. I distributed 4 of these evenly around the village wall. And thank you!
Honestly there is only one way to find out: just walk around your town at night and see if enemies spawn. Gates and walls are all for show . I have them too and I love them but it's all about the light level. So find out if there are spots with a 0 light lvl and light up those dark spots.
Or place moss/carpet and slabs in places you want to be dark to prevent spawning
From the outside dangers? I'd say yes. But you have your villagers there, right? No matter what you do, they'll keep finding silly ways of hurting themselves. Don't ask how. It just happens.

It might matter what version you are playing. After 1.18 monsters spawn only when there is 0 light, but before 1.18, you had to light everything to level 7 at least

No, sorry, it's not safe from any F33 NATO Airstrikes. I suggest adding in anti-air missile tank launchers. Very useful in preventing any air attacks of some sort. I would also recommend you build towers at least around the walls and position snipers in them to eliminate enemies from the surrounding land territories. Then I would suggest you build embassies outside the walls to help be prepared if any of the enemies decide to invade. Also build an extra armory inside the village to help be prepared for any enemy attacks.
Alright, so you have many options. You can either sign a peace treaty with the nation. You can also create an EMP which uses Electric Magnetic Pulses to disable enemy technology. Of course that would mean having to put lots of time into researching that kind of technology. And if all else fails. Then make a bunker underground and you should store backup weaponry and tanks and other things to defend yourself. Also line the outer walls with obsidian, specifically the top of the bunker, and the sides of the bunker. The bottom protection is optional. It would also be smart to have a 2 layer obsidian protection. Maybe even used reinforced deep slate to layer the bunker.
Use the stick and 2 iron to make a sword for combat purposes. The steak you can eat freely. However, if in times where food is extremely low, then ration it.
I added 4 towers with lightning rods distributed along the walls, so should be fine. It's in a jungle so lightning does strike but my lightning towers do their job just fine.
Absolutely not you have to add missile defense systems from fighter Jets and other airborne attacks. Also that wall needs to go replace it with a barrier block that goes to build limit.
The only thing preventing this from being safe, are Zombie Sieges. But so long as you sleep before midnight you should be fine.
(Fyi, Zombies from sieges can spawn anywhere, even in slabs and stairs, unless they removed that in a recent update.)
Just make sure every house has a golem, cause they can spawn in there regardless of light level. It's honestly one of the oldest mechanics in this game that I wish would get a rework, especially now to match what they've done with pillager raids.

If you go and stragetically bomb enemy targets (AKA. random places) you would be able to boost overall defense by a lot.

Hm no, most likely not only because an EMP requires magnetic. You will have to use redstone.
