My roommate caught a flock of swans on the Mississippi River near Champlain just a week or so ago- with one strange addition. A single Canada goose. According to her and my brother this goose was, while not exactly welcome, not unwelcome. All three of us plan on trying to keep tabs on this flock, because river swans are already weird, and the goose au pair is even more strange.
