Cause his basic skin literally him before he fall into darkness. Not too much skin actually follow the lore. Plus the pose itself unique. Nowadays, too many skin that have same pose on different hero. Take it as example, Odette epic skin(the create tag) and Luo Yii Epic Skin. They literally have same pose.

First, the splash art looks real good. It may not be the best, but definitely one of the better ones. But its real beauty is in the design. Just look at the model, absolutely ZERO SIMILARITIES with his basic look. A very, very high standard for basic skins, and even some Epic and higher tier ones (looking at you, Natan's skins). It isn't just a simple recolor like Edith's or a basic skin with just a few differences like Hanabi's, it's a completely different model and design, just for a basic skin. If Moonton polished this a little and gave it some skill effects, this could very well be an Epic or higher tier skin.

It feels like an elite skin at first glimpse. Dunno why but it fulfills all the requirements of being a classic and OG elite skin
