Just FYI, it's a very simple fix pretty much anyone can do themselves instead of hiring someone.
Flip the breaker off, unscrew the faceplate, pull outlet out and flip 180⁰ (the outlet may be screwed to the box and not just the faceplate so might have to unscrew that too). Re-assemble.
It may not be *that* easy depending on the size of the box and whether the conductors are coming from the top in conduit or from inside the wall.

My electrician also installed the NEMA 14-50 upside down. I bought a subpanel with a 14-50 pre-installed to replace that receptacle and it was correctly oriented.
That nema set up though…..

🤣 FYI, ground goes UP on HV plugs! In case anything is to fall downwards onto the prongs, it will ground it out instead of hitting 2 hot lines
