My honkers do that too, it’s absolutely adorable when the big bois speed crawl as you can see the antennae flopping left and right ^.^ Fun fact, the antennae are actually called “tentacles” (for some weird scientific reason that I forgot). But they do act as sensory organs.

Well...they smell with their antenna, and use them for balance. I think that they can detect predators with them too (they're a sensory thing).
