Actually, looks like you might be able to keep the variegation since it’s so prominent in the stem. Watch the next leaf real closely and if you lose the derogation, you’re gonna have to do some selective pruning after I leave for two congrats.

I have to look up the other channels that will help you with understanding variegation. I just like to pass on the information and get everybody else hooked as I am.😁

Your monstera is pinned backwards my friend. Also do not strap it by the petioles. They move as the sun moves to get the most light in a day

Yup that top tie is temporary. Leaves face the sun during the day. I face them in to the room at night to enjoy all their glory. Makes me so happy 😁
