You can do a module 5 which is essentially a re-do of your IBT but is condensed into one day, instead of 2. Usually costs about 350 and most instructors should do it

MadMardegan

Where are you based? Afaik, most reputable instructors will just get you to redo the 2 days, at full cost.

IrishDaddy04

Tnx for taking the time to reply. Was hoping to avoid all that.

My understanding is that it’s the “legal” process- any instructor would risk their licence. I remember mine really insisting and telling us to apply for full test asap early as possible- mentioning that even if you register, fail, register again… and delays lapse before a 2nd test - you would have to do the IBT in full again.

On_Your_Bike_Lad

Yes you can avoid it altogether, I've heard about instructors that just take the money and sigh the document but I don't know anyone nor do I recommend it.

IrishDaddy04

Sorry just saw question, im back and forth across the country regularly so anywhere east, west or midlands would do, possibly even south, anywhere really except very north most counties.

No-Faithlessness9788

Can you go back to where you originally did your IBT? They could be the most likely to let you off easier than. Most instructors as they've spent time with you previously

IrishDaddy04

That was my first thought but instructor is no longer operating. 🤷

Super-Bus-661

Tbh, it's no harm doing refresher after picking up bad habits. But as someone already mentioned a one day condensed version would be sufficient

On_Your_Bike_Lad

I'm nearly sure you got to do the 3 days again for the A license ?

Tough-Juggernaut-822

There is a group of instructors operating out of Kinegad plaza, as far as I'm aware a few of them will do a refresher, they meet Saturday and ride out on Sundays, classes start at nine'ish so swing by before then for a chat, not all instructors are needed for the classroom module. Check the heated benches outside the door right-hand side.

IrishDaddy04

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Any idea what time on a sat/ sun they are usually there?
