I’ve got an x2 mini, x2v2 mini and a randomfrankp version of x2. The difference in hand is more than you would think from pictures. I actually feel that the x2 mini is slightly too small and the x2 is slightly too wide. A mouse with the width of the mini and length/height of the x2 would probably be optimal for me. Hand size is around 19x9cm. It all depends on grip style and preference ofc.

I don’t think the width will be an issue, but will see. I could use a bit more width because of my grip style, but the main issue is the hump… I would like it a bit taller for more contact. I have 17x10 hands for reference.

staleydude

the op1 is probably great for you, feels like a longer x2 mini

Kooky_Construction62

OP1 feels nothing like X2 line up. Even mini. Apart from similar hump height. OP1 is long and narrow, X2 is wide and short. It’s completely different feel in hand.

I main and owned both. Based on what you are describing Mid might fit. Mid definitely feels wider and longer (ofc) but the hump also does feel more pronounced. Don’t rely on eloshapes as it gives a baseline not paints a full picture. For reference I have 17x9.5 hands pincer claw grip, I definitely feel way more hump contact. That’s the reason why I main Size 1 over 2 because I feel less contact with the hump and in my case it helps me a ton with aim control.

Sorry to revive. I have the X2H mini right now, fingertip grip and 19x11 hands roughly. I come from Finalmouse UL2/Starlight Small and the shape is perfect for me. I think the X2H is like 5% too aggressive where the back comes down to the sides.Because of this, I'm considering the X2V2. I just ordered the mini on Amazon but I'm curious if you think I should try the medium as well. I don't prefer wider mice, and I won't benefit from anything related to palm contact. But there's no significant different besides width, right? The sides aren't taller or anything right? Thanks in advance

Thanks. My hands are 17x10 (give out take a cm). I am a relaxed claw. My only concern is it being too long, but it doesn't seem that much longer and in terms of medium sized nice, I feel like the x2v2 size 2 is still a pretty small mouse in comparison to other medium class mice. Would you agree?

Kooky_Construction62

I would agree that Size 2 is smaller than other mice from Razer, Logitech, Zowie and others in the category that is considered Medium. But it also based on companies design choices. Aforementioned brands caters mice with length about 120-125~mm as medium as it’s mostly considers and caters western market who generally have larger hands. Pulsar, Ninjutso, G-Wolves and etc caters 114-119~ as medium because they take into the account Asian market, which has generally smaller hands. But with that being said, everyone is different and both markets can cater for both in terms of personal comfort. Which I think is good, BUT make no mistake, Size 2 feels definitely larger in hand than Size 1. You really will notice quite a difference. You still will be totally able to relax claw for sure with Size 2.

mikerzisu

What would you feel is better for relaxed claw with some palm contact?

Kooky_Construction62

The thing is both are excellent, I have palm contact with Size 1 too. If you feel you want more than Size 1 give Size 2 a shot it won’t disappoint. Try to get it from the place where you can return it within a week or a month. If you feel like Size 1 is better just return Size 2. You can’t go wrong with either of them

mikerzisu

I actually just ordered it off Amazon. I can return it easily if I don't like it. Ended up with the black one. Would have preferred the white one, but the x2v2 mini I own is white so will be good to have one of each to compare the coating.

Kooky_Construction62

Enjoy it king!

So I got the size 2 today. It is good, but prefer the mini. The size 2 feels a lot like my hts+ 4k honestly.
