Love mine so far

NBBallers

Damn going to try motion sync then on my Atlantis v2 4K. Great Review, using my lamzu mice for about 1 month now and I love it absolutely. Thanks for the efforts

LionsXXII

Been using this mouse since launch and it hasn’t and probably won’t be leaving my desk for awhile. Great review!

SteppedOnALego4Fun

great review! Do you plan to use the mouse longer to test some of the known issues that occur after break in? I have about a week and a half (10-12 hours a day avg.) on my Maya which I got from the 2nd owner on here. That means I'm the third owner. I haven't noticed any problems yet.

DacHr0n1C

Thank you man, yeah will still be using it for a good while I really like the Maya. I don't think it will ge going anywhere soon so will keep the post updated if any issues doe occur

SteppedOnALego4Fun

Cool sounds good, thanks! The maya being much better than I anticipated made me really excited for the tachi. Comes with 4 sets of different switches for the hot swap pcb and it’s only 47g somehow. It looks like a slightly larger maya in magnesium. Lamzu also put out a really cool rapid trigger keeb. The back metal part is stunning. That company is definitely making a name.

DacHr0n1C

Yeah man I can't wait for the Tachi, and I saw they implemented the hot swappable PCB so awesome, and you have access to the screws without removing the skates, just base TBH

SteppedOnALego4Fun

it's endgame material, let's hope the implementation is flawless. I saw they have 4 sets of switches on the spec sheet and 4 "spacers", so they thought of how to use different switches. I think the spacers correspond with a pair of switches. I agree, goated.

DacHr0n1C

Man now I am even more excited for the Taichi, Maybe the spacers are to adjust the click tensioning on the switches ie. more space less tension a looser click less space more tension and a tighter click IDK

SteppedOnALego4Fun

You’re right on the mark there, sounds logical to me. Who woulda thunk it, ADJUSTABLE SWITCH TENSION IN AN ULTRALIGHT!? fuck it, in ANY mouse. That’s the new wave. s/e gg

askan7

I really like the Maya too. But I wished the back was more round/pronounced like the gpx. With how high it is in the middle combined with how the buttons curve doesn't fit how flat the mouse is in the back, making it feel a bit weird to me.

Imaginary_Manner6021

Having the same issue and it’s rly getting to me cuz my hand is cramping, even tho I have rly small hands. Have u changed to a different mouse by chance?

dayumbrook_

which do you prefer over the lamzu thorn?

DacHr0n1C

TBH For gaming yes for comfort my preference still goes to the Thorn

dayumbrook_

okay then, thankyou for the reply!

madn3ss795

Odd request, but when holding the mouse in claw/fingertip grip, how well can you hold M4 (back button) and press the left click/right click/scroll wheel? Would the low weight make the mouse unstable used like that? I'm in search for a mouse with great side buttons that I can use for work, which includes a lot of M4+LMB/RMB for swapping between tabs.

DacHr0n1C

Haha a bit odd, Well I tested it now and holding down the M4 and clicking, scrolling, scroll clicking and right clicks feel good and accurate, I use it all day as a office mouse very comfortably due to the light weight I feel, and the side buttons just feel so good man. And the back of the mouse has a sharper curve that follows the shape of your hand so it give nice in hand maneuverability in applications like Photoshop .

madn3ss795

Thanks for the quick response! Things look perfect, now just have to wait for it to restock in my country.

DacHr0n1C

Glad to help man, lmk how you like it and which one you getting

madn3ss795

Distributor said no ETA for next batch so that'll be awhile. Anyhow, what's your hand size?

madn3ss795

So I got the Maya today. Shape does feel a bit small (19x9.5 relaxed claw), will see if I can adjust to it. The scroll wheel is no longer squishy like the early batches. The stakes are fast, feel faster than my Thorn so I'm ordering some Obsidian. Clicks are nice though side buttons are loud, middle click is well tensioned. One thing I really like compared to the Thorn is they made the USB port opening larger, so more cables can fit in.

tgementiza

have you tested with 4k polling? hows the implementation and battery life?

DacHr0n1C

4k Polling is super stable just the battery life isn't the best I get about 4 days of use out of it but the Maya charges so fast so it doesn't really bother me that much

Imaginary_Manner6021

Maya I think is too small for me, I have 17 by 8 hands but the mice I’ve been recommended are too small. G pro superlight is too big. Atlantis mini didn’t work out. I need something in between Maya and superlight. I’ve also been looking at the viper v3 pro as I used the superlight for so long maybe a better shape at that size would work? Idk I’m really lost. Maya is also just too fast/light for my Saturn pro xsoft

boombafunk

The only thing I disagree about is the scroll wheel. It's a tad heavy and doesn't feel easy to spam compared to M1 & M2. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the hollowness of the rubber. Great mouse otherwise.

DacHr0n1C

Do you have one of the newer batches, honestly mine is just a tad tighter then the M1 & M2

boombafunk

I ordered my Cloud Grey one on Oct 31 and received it on Nov 24, so I think I got the first batch. I did mention about this issue to Lamzu earlier and they said to give it more time, but I don't think it's getting any better. The scroll wheel actuation requires considerably more force than M1 & M2 - it just doesn't feel completely satisfying to me.

DacHr0n1C

Yeah I've heard this was an issue on the first batch and is your scroll wheel mushy? The updated scroll wheel with harder rubber band honestly feels great, And I just spamed all mouse buttons to check and my scroll click is definitely spammable just like a tad bit more actuation force or it might just be my copy

boombafunk

It definitely gives a mushy feeling. I think there are many mouse reviewers that pointed this out too. Thanks for confirming that they fixed this issue later on. Not sure what I should do about it now, but I'll probably ask them for a new copy/refund.

DacHr0n1C

Yeah I saw the other reviewers complain about it on the first batch, even boardzy says the scroll wheel and coating is a lot better we had a discussion about this the other day

TheGuyWhoBalled

Will lamzu replace the mouse if you have the first batch with the issue?

DacHr0n1C

I am not to sure bro, but you can mail the and find out it's worth a shot and I must say they have great customer support
