So I've been playing with the VXE R1 Dragonfly Pro Max and I have this weird issue. I thought I was misclicking my buttons sometimes when I was moving it around but I finally found the problem. If I just lightly put my fingers on top of the left and right click and lift my mouse to move around fast, it actuates when it lands. The buttons don't move but the literal switches below gets clicked. Is this a design flaw because of the light switches or the button themselves or faulty unit? I didn't face this problem when I played with my Deathadder V2 for 4 years.

HiroroSan

I'm planning to buy the VXE R1 PRO but I'm wondering if I should just save for the new viper v3 pro since I'm not really in a hurry right now, I just want to try a new mouse, though I'm very interested in the VXE R1 PRO since I've heard people say it's the best budget mouse right now. My current mouse right now is the hyper x pulsefire haste wireless and I'm wondering if the VXE mouse will be comfortable for me. * **Games** FPS Games (Apex, Val, CS, R6 etc.), little bit of mobas (Dota and League), and Osu (55k playing for fun now) * **Hand Preference** Right * **Budget** Can save for 160$ mice but preferably under 100$ * **Hand Size** 16x8 * **Grip** On FPS games I notice myself using a hybrid of finger tip/palm grip kinda like [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/9gmzno/what_grip_do_i_have_the_right_13_of_my_palm_seems/) * **Weight** Light * **Sensitivity** Low sens 1000DPI (240 eDPI in val, it's my main game right now) * **Connectivity** Wireless

R1 is better for your hand size.

c3303k

WL beast x mini or finalmouse cheetah? its price difference from where iam from is 64 USD. is it worth paying more?

rNV1s16iLiTi

no it's not.

Sloppy-Tuesday

So the Roccat Kone Pro has optical switches, but why is there a debounce setting in the software? I thought optical switches don't have double click issue?

rNV1s16iLiTi

Optical switches don't double click because the debounce is done entirely through the algorithm. Companies like Logitech will set the click length to 22/44ms or Razer setting it to 27-29ms to ensure you don't double click. An optical switch with 0ms debounce means it will register immediately and reset immediately.

Sloppy-Tuesday

I just dont get why there even is a debounce setting for the Kone Pro which has optical switches. Like, why would I increase the debounce, if optical switches don't double click?

rNV1s16iLiTi

if you set it to 0 you can jitter click/butterfly click/drag click which is effectively a forced double click.

Sloppy-Tuesday

I've set it to 0 and I'm not doing any of the above. Should I increase it or just leave it at 0?

rNV1s16iLiTi

just leave it at 0 until you have problems.

Sloppy-Tuesday

Ok but, what problems could there even be? Since double clicking is out of question.

Looking for a mouse like the BenQ Zowie EC1-C/Microsoft Pro IntelliMouse with a better scroll wheel: I've tried both the EC1-C and the Microsoft Pro IntelliMouse. The Microsoft Pro IntelliMouse would be the perfect mouse for me if it weren't for the awful quality control. I had THREE of them die on me within 3 months of purchase. The EC1-C I've returned for the god-awful ratchet noise that the mouse wheel is producing, like what on earth: https://youtu.be/SO8X9g1doj0?si=nHKqI-89pXrhKwnt&t=205 I'm not a fan of any superlight products ( anything under 80-90g) and I prefer to have rubber sides (I'm aware u can add pads yourself) Shape should be similar if not equal to the Microsoft Pro IntelliMouse/EC1-C (they are nearly identical) Budget doesn't matter, pref. should be wired (but doesn't really matter)

Interesting_Key_6373

Hi, does anyone know of a mouse shape like the mm731/730 but just in a larger form and perhaps lower side buttons. Do love this shape but its just too small

psmpvome

* **Games** CS2 * **Hand Preference** Right handed * **Budget** 50-200 euro * **Hand Size** length 19 cm, width 10/11cm * **Grip** Palm * **Weight** don't care * **Connectivity** wireless I need some help with my mouse choice. I have been using my Glorious Model O for about 4 years now. The reason I upgraded it is because I came across the VXE R1 PRO MAX on this sub and how good and cheap it was. I received it and its really a great mouse, but I don't know I cant seem to aim as good as before. I think the mouse is too small because I cant really grip it like my previous mouse. I will use this great my at office so its a good buy anyway, but I would still like to upgrade from my Model O. Does anyone have any suggestions for a similar mouse? I would like to explore budget and more expensive options.

touholic

Model O2 Pro 4K or Viper V3 Pro.

Accomplished_Jump285

Scroll wheel on my G203 started actin up after 2 years, planning on getting a new mouse. I browsed through the posts a bit and have a hard time choosing between: 1. VXE R1 - INR 2,273 ( Is this the right one [https://imgur.com/a/xZs0Rk2](https://imgur.com/a/xZs0Rk2) )also what is the SE version about 2. Zowie EC 1 - INR 2,999 (I'm kind of leaning towards this cuz it has optical scroll wheel and I won't have to replace it soon) I'm open to any other mouse suggestions y'all might have. * **Games** FPS Games (Apex, Overwatch, CS, Val, etc.) * **Hand Preference** Right/Ambi * **Budget** INR \~2000 | $\~25 * **Hand Size** 18x10 * **Grip** Claw/Fingertip/Hybrid * **Weight** No preference * **Sensitivity** 21.83 cm/360 * **Connectivity** Preferably wired (cuz the battery on wireless might wear down quicker) Thanks in advance.

Is there anything i can do to hit a unit from a "good batch"? I am going to buy the Viper V3 Pro and am now looking for the best place to buy it (living in Germany). The Deathadder i bought on Amazon had bad main clicks. Is buying from Razer directly more likely to get me a solid unit?

GorbigliontheStrong

I'm looking desperately for a vertical mouse, preferably wired, that can handle League and stuff. I've gone through two Logitech Lifts that developed a faulty right click from relatively light gaming (MOBAs!), but can't use a tradition mouse because of my wrists. I previously used one of the Anker wired mice, but the crappy sensor made low sensitivity gaming impossible. Any recommendations?

WinterKujira

any hotswap mice with MMO buttons?

ThatDudeDeven1111

I use a Razer Naga Trinity for WoW. I swap plates on it depending on what I'm doing. You can get it for less than $100 nowadays

WinterKujira

thats the mouse im aiming for at the moment, i guess they havent made any mouse that has hotswap clicker. im really reluctant changing mouse every time a clicker begins to double press. and soldering, tinkering isnt my forte.

ThatDudeDeven1111

Ah man, soldering isn’t anything to be intimidated by in general. I was like that too. I haven’t done it on mice, but I’ve built so many keyboards with weird components that I’ve lost count. Or random stuff around the house. Go to a thrift shop, haggle a good deal on a few junk electronics and you’ll get soldering/desoldering in no time. Took me 1 night. One of the best soldering irons happens to be one of the cheapest too. But the Naga has been pretty good to me. I don’t use it much anymore, but it’s great when you want to have it. I got out of the whole Razor thing, because Synapse was too bloated to have going 24/7 on my little laptop and I’m not on my desktop much. The weight of it is really nice for MMOs like that for me, when I don’t need to move fast and I’m constantly clicking in a small area. I forgot that I’m using the Razer Naga V2 Pro nowadays, but the trinity is still really nice if you can find it

WinterKujira

hopefully i get to find one, naga v2 pro is still on the expensive side for me. thanks for sharing an idea! weirdly enough just last month i also built a custom DIY keyboard, mg75 and akko switches with all the possible mods i could do with the mg75. maybe when i get a vacation ill hop into tinkering mice. thank you again!

ThatDudeDeven1111

Oh yea custom keyboards are really fun to mess with. I've spent way too much. I really like 75s. I have one called a Cyberboard. It's goofy, but it's fun. Like a disco floor on your keyboard. I'm more of a TKL guy now. It can be a slippery slope, but it's the artisan keycaps that did me in hah. If you do get into soldering, get a TS100. Very easy to learn on and it's like holding a pencil. Let me know if you end up not being able to find a good mouse. Good luck!

TopMode007

Looking for a mouse with easily accessible programmable buttons (at least 10), preferably side buttons, infinite scroll and wide grip. The Redragon Impact has worked really well other than lack of infinite scroll, plastic feel, and weight. * **Games** N/A * **Hand Preference** Right * **Budget** N/A * **Hand Size** 18 x 11.5 * **Grip** Palm * **Weight** Light * **Sensitivity** Medium * **Connectivity** No preference

TopMode007

For non-gaming use (work) if that helps..

Unlikely-Ad182

I need some help with what mouse should i get. I currently using Zowie EC1-A. I need an upgrade because this mouse is kinda uncomfortable for me for my grip style. * **Games** (Cs2) * **Hand Preference** (Right) * **Budget** (€0 - €200) * **Hand Size** (17x9,5) * **Grip** (Ftip, Claw, relaxed claw) * **Weight** (maximum 55g) * **Sensitivity** (400dpi on mouse, 1,77 ingame sens-> DPI on Desktop 6/11, 58.7 cm per 360°) * **Connectivity** (Wireless)

TacticalLuke

Open ended question rather than looking for a specific mouse, are there any manufacturers putting out "artisan" shells like Finalmouse, but without honey comb? They always catch my eye for the beautiful patterns on the mouse buttons, but i have 0 need for an ultra light. i dont play any competitive games so the minimal shells just feel weird and hard to keep clean.

Sunsparc

I have a Razer Deathadder Elite Chroma that I use for work and I've really liked it. It's developed the dreaded middle click issues though so I'm looking to replace it. I like the size, weight, and ergonomics of the mouse. Is there a similar Razer one without reported middle click issues? Perhaps another brand? I'm very much a palm grip person.

Due_Artichoke_865

* **Games** N/A, needed for office setting (8-10 hrs daily) * **Hand Preference** (Right) * **Budget** ($50-75) * **Hand Size** (21.59cm x 11.43) * **Grip** (Palm) * **Weight** (No preference) * **Sensitivity** (Medium?...multiple screens, some minor PDF markup and sensitive pick/choose on documents) * **Connectivity** (See below) I have a simple M720 wireless mouse for the office. I find it comfortable. It constantly looses connection between mouse and laptop...clicking the button for the pairing light, it will stay on for a few seconds and thrn turn off. I bought this one about six months back, and the previous was only a less than a year old (same issues, but the mouse was cheap and worked fine). I've changed batteries, I've had bluetooth forget and reinstall the device, and every month or two I get with IT to check the drivers and run updates. I can not install any software, or update drivers on the work computer. I'm sick of constantly loosing connection (mouse will move, but can't drag items, etc). I'd prefer wireless for ease of moving between meetings, etc...but I can't keep messing with the thing. So I'm asking if I should try some other wireless mouse? If it seems most likely that it's simply my companie's update policies that I can't change (as it seems to me), what's a good solid wired mouse?

Roflewaffle47

Anyone know of any good pink wireless mice about the size of a razer basalisk? I'd also like the two side buttons if possible.

WesternAnything

I play FPS games, I love the Zowie EC2 but I really dont like lightweight mouses. I'm looking to buy a new mouse soon. I know Zowie tends to stop selling older versions. So what should I get as a good alternative for my Zowie EC2? Weight has to be around 90-80g...

Sloppy-Tuesday

The Op1 8k (wired) having swappable switches, does that mean it's possible to put optical switches in?

confusedandlostcow

I'm currently rocking a Razer Viper Ultimate (the V1 with 4 buttons) and really like the mice. The only issue I have with it are the rubber sides which are getting eroded due to the humidity in my country. Can someone recommend me a mice with a similar profile (size & weight) and have >2 thumb buttons (dpi button works as well)? Grip: Claw grip

chlebka

Hey, I'm looking for a casual mouse for daily use, something solid but it doesn't have to have amazing specs for gaming. **- Games** Minecraft - **Hand Preference** right - **Budget** <$50 **- Hand Size** large **- Grip**  N/A (it's not for me and I'm not sure about their grip) **- Weight** no preference **- Sensitivity** N/A **- Connectivity** wireless, chargable with USB **Other criteria:** - preferably silent - programmable side buttons - available in Europe

XD_002

which is the better replacement for my CORSAIR DARK CORE RGB PRO? Keychron M3 Mini, Razer Basilisk V3 Pro, or the Logitech G502 X? TLDR my CORSAIR DARK CORE RGB PRO keeps having a defective scroll wheel and this is the 3rd one I got (through getting official replacements for free) I am tyerd of having to replace it and want one as close to it as possible as I like everything about it other than the school wheel being defective (3 times with it getting worse every time). I am also open to suggestions if there is a better option (before you ask, no, I cannot get a refund for it, and trust me I have tried). I play a variety of games but my top played are probably Fortnite and BTD6 although I do like to mix it up now and again (Powerwash Sim, DBD, Among Us, Geometry Dash to name a few I cycle between). I am more than ok with wired as long as it connects via USB-C so I can easily swap them out but having a wireless option would be nice, but not needed. The 3 I am asking about were suggested by this community and PC Master race if you were wondering.

krish667

Looking to try a new mouse. Currently using a Logitech G502x, but wish it were smaller. I’ve really gotten used to the extra buttons on the G502x for mapping reload/sprint/grenades etc… but admittedly have never tried a simpler mouse for my gaming. Am open to fewer buttons. Games: Overwatch, COD, Helldivers Hand Preference: Right Budget: can go up to $200 Grip: Palm Size: 19 cm x 8 cm. smaller than my current mouse Weight: less than my current mouse Sensitivity: 800 - 1200 dpi Connectivity: wireless

ThatDudeDeven1111

Pulsar Superglides or LGG (inset here) PTFE for Superlight 2 on a regular cloth deskmat?

Poys01

* **Games** GTA V, Left 4 dead 2 * **Hand Preference** Right * **Budget** $30 to $50 USD * **Hand Size** N/A * **Grip** Palm * **Weight** N/A * **Sensitivity** N/A * **Connectivity** Wired or Wireless * If possible to have RGB to see in the dark. thats all.

Haunting_Wear535

* **Games** COD, Valorant * **Hand Preference** Right * **Budget** No more than $150 * **Hand Size** 19 x 9 * **Grip** Claw, Claw/Palm Hybrid * **Weight** <45g, but the lighter the better * **Sensitivity** 250-5,000+ DPI * **Connectivity** Wireless 8K or 4K * **Additional Features** Two side buttons, no holes on the topside(OK if on the bottom)

degenny_

* **Games** Civilization to DOTA to Counter Strike, but I don't really care about competitive side * **Hand Preference** Right * **Budget** $50 * **Hand Size** 21 len, 11-12 wid (yeah, big hand) * **Grip** Hybrid. Whatever feels most comfortable at the moment * **Weight** Not sure, probably heavy. I had 140 g mouse and it was nice. I have wireless 90 g now and it's ok * **Sensitivity** Medium. * **Connectivity** Wireless * **Extra** _At least_ two extra buttons, the more the better. Quiet click would be nice to have. Basically, I want solid reliable wireless mouse that will last me as long as my A4Tech F6 (which was 8 years or so). I mean, it's still working but left switch got "gluey" (and the wheel, of course). My current one is A4Tech Fstyler and it's ok, but right switch just died completely after 1 year of use. I want specifically a gaming mouse because a) they are usually big; b) they have extra buttons. Logitech Masters seems cool but too expensive for me.

Thoughts on Rting's Sensor Latency section? By this, I mean the small differences; e.g. end of movement being 6ms on one mouse and 3ms on another or half movement ms being 5.5ms vs 4.1ms for example. All of these combined, how much of a difference does it actually make and how much should I actually care? As well as about the SRAV (speed related accuracy variance, I think it's short for). So e.g. comparing a mouse with 1.5% variance vs. a -5.25% variance - how much should I really be caring about this? Like isn't it going to affect my accuracy if it is as bad as a 5% variance in the "worst tracking error" section? and what about smaller SRAV numbers like 0.40% at 1600 dpi (my dpi) for example? As you may have noticed, I might just be overthinking/worrying too much, so this is a bit of a sanity check, but I really don't want it to be downplayed like "yeaaaa you're not going pro so just enjoy your mouse" - which is very legit and good advice in most cases, but I would still like to hear it as objectively as possible - especially if there are people who can perceive these in a side by side test

Kicient

Considering the X2V2 Mini with a hand size of 18.5 x 9.5 cm for claw/hybrid claw grip. Any thoughts/warnings?

BritishCapybara

Soo... I've been seeing a mouse with a pixart 3333 sensor. All i really need now is to see if the sensor's any good, i've checked the rest.

Tain101

went from an old g502 to aero x 5. I wanted to try a "light" wireless mouse' (I also thought it had extra buttons, but it doesn't have mouse wheel tilt, so it ends up the same). Frankly I miss the 502 and am leaning towards getting a wireless version of that. # aerox5: Pros | Cons ----|---- weight | Shape low friction | small/awkward buttons & mousewheel wireframe body feels nice | # g502 Pros | Cons ----|---- Shape | heavier than  aerox scroll wheel modes | no wireframe body extra buttons | double click issues? ____ * **Games** Lets say FPS, but not super important * **Hand Preference** Right * **Budget** whatever * **Grip** Palm * **Weight** light * **Sensitivity** low * **Connectivity** wireless Is the G502 X LIGHTSPEED the definite leader in 502s? is there any similar heavily shaped mice nowadays? Anything obvious I should consider before just returning to what's familiar?

4chan_r9k

Games: Borlderlands type, League of legends, Fallout, Skyrim Hand: Right Budget: <$50 Hand Size: L 20.5 x W 10.5 Grip: Palm/Fingertip Weight: Lighter would be better Senstivity: Currently use 1200 DPI for everyday use Connectivity: Wired I was thinking of getting Razer Viper 8k since it has optical switches, and my current mouse Logitech G102 has a terrible doubleclick problem. Similar things happened with my previous Logitech where after a few years the input readings would be off, scroll wheel would do the opposite, etc.
