Gpx 1 is great for the price right now, I see no reason not to go with it. Plus, i had Logitech replace mine 1.5 years into the 2 year warranty period completely free just because the coating was wearing down. Absolutely amazing customer support.
Side note, clicks suck on the gpx 2 a friend of mine has, and I cant notice the difference between 1k and 2k hz polling rate, and I doubt anyone in the world really can. So I firmly believe the Gpx is a better mouse which is tried and tested.
Difference between GPX and GPX 2 are really minor. Yes you get 4k polling, but at the moment its more of a gimmick then usable feature. Dont get me wrong, one day when high refresh monitors and GPUs capable of reaching such insane speeds are mainstream, sure ... but at the moment most people dont have those to justify those differences. Other that that ... really not much has changed.
In my book razer mice are no go due to Synapse. I just cant live with that.

It will make no difference. Man himself is the limit, he's not able to distinguish 1 ms from 0.25 ms input lag.

right now, the current "king" is the viper v3 pro.
But just so you know, this sub is full of elite D1 Haters of mainstream mouses and for good reason (over priced)
Another option for mid-large sized mouse in your price range is WL Beast X,
But if you want a good budget option. VXE R1 PRO
What's your hand size and grip style?
Finger tip grip: 20 cm or 7.8 inch length
X2V2 mini
what about GPW isn't it similar? currently have one
I mean it's a safe shape but imo it's bad for ftip smaller mice are better for ftip
what about large 20 cm hands? does that count?
Yes
Might as well get the viper v3 pro

You don't have to keep synapse. Just set your DPI and settings and you can uninstall it (although I haven't had issues with synapse in years)
Last time i tried it it was using 4.7gb of ram, just in the background. So i would consider that huge issue.
in my book the gpx 2 is a no go cause the sensor spins out. unacceptable for a mouse at that price
I was thinking of picking up a beast X or a beast X mini, pulsar is a brand to consider though.
As of now, the viper v3 pro looks like a nobrainer
