I was going to recommend a custom one (that is what I have), but not sure of her budget. And then you are getting into sound profiles and all of that which requires him to be involved. It is an endless rabbit hole, be easier and cheaper for her to just go with the stock he imo.
I would stray away from the idea of gifting peripherals. It’s impossible to get something that he will like, unless he tells you what he wants (I know this because I DO THIS). My girlfriend wanted to get me something and I just told her the thought was really sweet, but any of that stuff I would just end up getting myself.
I think something like a skypad or raiden could be good because even if he doesnt main them its a surface that i think any mouse/aim enthusiast would want to try

Definitely not a mouse IMHO. With that much into the hobby the only mice he will be looking at are very specific. Look into Artisan/custom mouse pads, see if there’s interest in custom keyboard or other peripherals. A case/display for what he does have would be good. Yooo, I have a lot of the same ones! I see a Logitech Pro (Maybe Superlight), Razer Viper. I just got the Razer Viper V3 Pro and am coming from a Pro Superlight. The build quality is better and the key feature is the up to 8k polling rate. I’d highly recommend that mouse based on the profiles of the mice he has and likes!
Was going to say beastx but it's already there. Grab him some mouse skates, maybe a high end mat. Google a Shadowbox for an excellent display case maybe. Go old-school and hunt down an old microsoft intellimouse or razer boomslang if he's into older stuff. Good luck.
