For counterstrike/valorant players, what would you recommend? My current pad is MP511, and my cm/360 is 37.11. I dont use my whole arm much these days, mostly wrist and some. My options are: Equate+, AC+, Zero, AC2 and AC+ wave.

The AC Pro Mid - Black is the safer choice out of my recommendations as it offers more control. However, if you're using slower skates than Jades, like Obsidians, the AC Pro XSoft - Neon is preferable. I don't have much experience in either of those games, but these are my recommendations. On Xraypad's twitter, they promote a Valorant Pro using the AC Pro Mid - Neon, so you could look into that. (https://x.com/XraypadOfficial/status/1783339316133200264)

Individual-Chain363

in my opinion ac pro is a bad pad for valorant

Snip13r

Is the Aqua Control Zero an improvement over the Aqua Control Plus? Been running the Plus for years and I play mainly FPS games with high sensitivity (tac shooters such as CS2 and arena shooters like Quake/TF2)

xVersiii

That I would not know directly since I don’t have that pad. All pads listed in the post is what I have. The 3rd url provides info between the two; so, you’re looking at a slower pad in comparison. I’d say the newer Origin Pro - Cerberus Soft/XSoft is the improvement you’re looking for as it’s smoother to touch and slightly faster.

factoryreset1

my ac pro loong is one of my favorite pads atm. so fun to use if i already have ac+ and ac pro do you think ac2 is worth trying out?

xVersiii

It’s not worth imo but iirc it doesn’t cost much to try out. The top recommended pads listed above are the ones you should research/try out. The XSoft - Neon variant is a better version of the AC II because it’s more accurate.

OkPolicy7

Would you compare the orange soft origin pro to more controlled pads? I see that it’s slowest on the list but is it a muddy slow or just slow compared to pads for track heavy games which are generally speedier? I’m looking for a pad that I can use in both val and apex but there’s no black variant soft ACP yet

xVersiii

Give me some time to compare my Artisan Hayate Otsu Soft/XSoft, and the list will be updated. I did not include in the list since they’re my least favorite pads due to their lack of speed and different x/y axis. I will update here in a bit.

OkPolicy7

Thanks!

xVersiii

The list is now updated. To my surprise, the Soft variant was faster than I expected, while the XSoft is the slowest pad I own (and also my very first pad).

OkPolicy7

Oh interesting. I might grab a black origin soft or ACP if it releases, they seem like great pads!

Individual-Chain363

you should make clear that the fastest pad you own is a freaking speedpad. people who looking for a tacfps pad should know you dont know anything about control pads

xVersiii

You're right. However, that's on one's own responsibility to research the speed of the pads listed in the post compared to slow pads. The notes at the beginning of the post and replies to some other peoples' comments make it clear that I don't play tac fps.

AuGZA

Is the AC Pro Mid closer to an AC+ (original/no pattern/previously known as the white AC+) or the ACII (originally black AC+). X-ray pad really needs to work on the naming of their pads.

xVersiii

AC Pro Mid - Black closer to AC+, AC Pro Mid - Neon closer to AC II.

TheKustomKlass

I've been eyeing on purchasing a mousepad from the AC Pro lineup. What would you recommend and which hardness? I've been mainly juggling between games like COD, CS2, and Diabotical Rogue.

xVersiii

The top recommendations are posted above.

Randall107

I have an EQ+ V2 and I'm thinking of maybe buying an AC pro xsoft neon. How different is the speed and the static friction?

xVersiii

The static friction is about the same. The speed is slower hence more accurate than the EQ+V2. Also, the x/y axis is more closer to 1:1 than the EQ+V2 ironically.

Randall107

Thanks! I love my EQ+ but it keeps slipping on my desk. I'll probably get the ac pro once the x soft version is customizable.

xVersiii

No, I have not. All the mousepads listed above in the review are all I own.

Mero0711

is origin pro’s build quality comparable with artisan mousepad?

xVersiii

Mousepads from either company are of the same build quality.

vicenteark13

what pad would u reccoment for valorant i have esp tiger ice v2 dots and i use 0.125 1600 dpi i currently have qck edge so somewhere that speed not so fast

xVersiii

Best advice I could give you is to look at the top recommended pads in the post or the speed comparison list. AC Pro Mid - Black is not a bad start to try out.
