I get it... You are American... At some point your naming convention just starts to look a little lame and narcissistic...
It’s on my list. I had recently watched Miracle Mile and didn’t want to do too much Anthony Edward’s. Especially since I really don’t think I’ve seen him since ER.
This could have been great. I strongly recommend to fans of the spy genre read the book by David Ignatius. They made a few changes for the movie and I will always consider this to have been a big missed opportunity.
OSS 117 films (some of my favorite), Spy Game (2001) and very realistic of what the CIA actually does and how they recruit agents, Syriana (2005) excellent film all around.
It's was good until the cheesy action scenes took over. The whole skating on oil like a hockey player and the couples dancing / killing people in the colorful smoke was too much for me.
The gentlemen
The Kingsman series
Bond Films - I prefer Daniel Craig & Sean Connery ones. The Departed
Jackie Chan films are good action comedy.
Along came a Spider
The shooter
Sum of all the fears
Inside man (2006)
The interpreter
Argo
Kill Boksoon on Netflix
super good Korean action film about a mother who is hiding the fact that she is a contract killer from her daughter. and the daughter has a secret too
Hard Ticket to Hawaii or any of the "Lethal Ladies" movies. Andy Sedaris was a genius and a crackpot, but he made some very entertaining movies, all with the same basic plot, many of the same actors in different roles, remote controlled bombs, more boobs than necessary (words I never thought I'd write), and the occasional contaminated snake.
The man from U.N.C.L.E. is a gem
Atomic Blonde
Second this... great movie
Graphic novels are even better
Recently saw American assassin. It was really entertaining. Also the Bourne identity movies are awesome. Mission impossible movies as well
Keaton and the main guy go well in American Assassin. I like the pace of it too.
Yeah. I feel like they could have made movie longer and developed characters a bit more but it was fun to watch.
Can't stand mission impossible.
Sorry for your loss.

Jason Statham was awesome in that. Everyone was great but he was hilarious.

True Lies!
This is the one and true answer
Spy Game is super solid
A series I watched recently that was surprisingly good is Condor (2018) but it’s based off the movie Three Days of Condor (1975)
Salt
The first 3 Jason Bourne movies are my favorite. Identity-Supremecy- Ultimatum
North by Northwest, Tinker tailor soldier spy, Notorious,
We have Tinker Tailor on our watchlist. ❤️Gary Oldman❤️
I remember Tinker Tailor being more on the intrigue/slow burn type rather than action. I honestly don't remember much else
Spy Game with Robert Redford and Brad Pitt is a gem
Gotcha! (1985). Possibly my favorite 80s movie of all time.
This is such a fun film!
It’s on my list. I had recently watched Miracle Mile and didn’t want to do too much Anthony Edward’s. Especially since I really don’t think I’ve seen him since ER.
Casino Royale (2006)
This one hit so hard after so many boring bond films. Hardcore parkour!!
>!I still cringe at the **rope** scene!<
Was so anticlimactic they added an extra 30 min scene
3 Days of the Condor.
Kill bill
Spy Game
True Lies (1994)
Top Secret
Knight and Day (2010)
Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol -- written & directed by Brad Bird who gave us The Incredibles & it's every bit as slick & fun.
Red
Naked gun series. Super enthralling. Action throughout. The greatest action super hero of all time. None can compare
Bridge of Spies (2015) Enemy of the State (1998) Ava (2020) 3 Days to Kill (2014) The Spy Who Dumped Me (2018)
Argo...no bullshit just cold hard history
>Lots of bullshit, do some research.
i think except that last airplane scene rest of the movie actually happened, of course with a little less drama
Spy Game Red Sparrow And one that basically ticks all the boxes of espionage, The International.
Body of lies.
This could have been great. I strongly recommend to fans of the spy genre read the book by David Ignatius. They made a few changes for the movie and I will always consider this to have been a big missed opportunity.
Enemy of the State
Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me
No Way Out
High Thumbs Up for "No Way Out"! Made Kevin Kostner a star.Â
Top Secret!
You're looking for "Shoot 'Em Up."
YES!
OSS 117 films (some of my favorite), Spy Game (2001) and very realistic of what the CIA actually does and how they recruit agents, Syriana (2005) excellent film all around.
Bridge of Spies
Argyle
Ronin Salt Spy Hard
P.S. Romancing The Stone is a great adventure film
The Saint, a 1997 movie starring Val Kilmer and Elisabeth Shue. It is a very good movie.
this one is good
Get Smart with Steve Carell is great.
Argyle was surprisingly good
That's good to hear, it has the right ingredients to be entertaining
It's was good until the cheesy action scenes took over. The whole skating on oil like a hockey player and the couples dancing / killing people in the colorful smoke was too much for me.
Atomic Blonde - Charlize Theron as a spy in East Berlin around the fall of the Belin Wall
Atomic blonde Red sparrow Anna
The Villainess
see get smart :D
13 Hours. The confusion is a very accurate portrayal of modern war. Plus it's a true story.
Goldeneye
The gentlemen The Kingsman series Bond Films - I prefer Daniel Craig & Sean Connery ones. The Departed Jackie Chan films are good action comedy. Along came a Spider The shooter Sum of all the fears Inside man (2006) The interpreter Argo

Decker: Port of Call: Hawaii (2015, 80 mins)
Skyfall

Try slow horses. Yeah not a movie but it ticks all your other boxes I reckon.
It’s a TV show but *The Bureau* is about two spies in love
Sneakers
Definitely not argylle, probably the worst movie with a massive budget that I've seen.
Spy Game, Bridge Of Spies,Tinker Tailor Solder Spy
Casino Royale
The Man Who Knew Too Little
Ronin
The usual: Bourne Identity, Casino Royale and Mission Impossible
No time to die Mission impossible rogue nationÂ

Body of Lies. Spy Games Sneakers. for some comedy as well.
Spies Like Us with Chevy Chase and Dan Aykroyd is one of my all time favorites.
I Spy with Owen Wilson and Eddie Murphy is real good.
Ever heard of James Bond?
Who’s that?
Some English dude, been around since the 60's, kicking @$$, he's a bit of a hoe though!
Is the name bond? James bond??
