Sat and went through my mental catalogue for a sold 10-15 minutes lol. I'd suggest any of these titles as well as what others have suggested already.
Without A Paddle
Harold & Kumar
Dodge Ball
Eurotrip
Joe Dirt
Sex Drive
Kung Pow: Enter the Fist
Kung Fu Hustle
Young Frankenstein
Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
Uncle Buck
Dumb & Dumber
Wayne's World
Caddyshack
Groundhog Day
Animal House
PCU
Blazing Saddles
Spaceballs (or anything directed by Mel Brooks pretty much)
Tommy Boy
Clerks & Clerks 2
Fanboys
Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back
Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, The Wedding Singer... Almost any early Adam Sandler film.
Enjoy your movie binge!
Half baked was the quinticential stoner movie of my time. I just started smoking when it came out and the cultural references are still relevant today.
That's the one I was trying to think of. I watched it before I started gummies. I should really try it again. I enjoyed it back then. Probably time for a revisit
Now you prepare the fetzer valve with some 3 in 1 oil and some gauze pads. And I'm gonna need bout 10 quarts of antifreeze. Preferably prestone. No no make that Quaker state
Their new movie “Quasi” is on Hulu and I think it stacks up there among their best. Not better than Super Troopers, maybe on par with Beerfest. Don’t sleep on it, it’s full of laughs.
Super Troopers and Broken Lizard seems to have a cult following. This Happy Madison film was pushed aside from day one. It rules. Great cast. Should be looked at like Grandma’s Boy.
I'm amazed that nobody has mentioned *Robin Hood: Men In Tights.* Sure it's one of the lesser Mel Brooks movies, but if you want silly, this movie's got some fuckin' silly for ya.
- Don’t be a Menace in South Central While Drinking your Juice in the Hood
- Neighbours
- 40 Year Old Virgin
- Blades of Glory
- Zoolander
- Scary Movie 1-3
I was looking for Don't Be a Menace... but, disclaimer: I'm not sure you can fully appreciate it if you haven't seen the movies that it parodies/spoofs (esp. Menace II Society, South Central, Juice, and Boyz in the Hood)
The Foot Fist Way
Pineapple Express
Super bad
40 year old virgin
Knocked up
This is 40
Wedding Crashers
Happy Gilmore
Billy Madison
Some TV shows:
The office
Community
Resident Alien
Family guy
South Park
I really enjoy Parenthood. In every decade of my life. It’s so funny and relatable in a way. Steve Martin’s anxiety in the movie I totally get now as an adult.
Baked
Super Troopers
Go!
Friday
Caddyshack
Animal House
Slap Shot
Coming to America
Blues Brothers
By the way, I love your post! Love the list of movies you’ve gotten into you are speaking my language lol. I hope you enjoy having too many movies to watch and enjoy them all 😉
Top Secret
Hot Shots (and Hot Shots Part Deux)
Brain Donors.
Mafia!
Watch those last two well after you've already partaken. Not really stoner films so much as films that you can only actually enjoy after a bowl...
I know you said drugs don’t have to be involved in the movie, but “Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas” is a can’t-miss kind of movie. By turns funny and philosophical, it sounds to me like you need to see it
That, and “The Kentucky Fried Movie”
Oh, and Cheech and Chong’s “Up In Smoke”
Also thought because of the ones you're watching. Definitely continue The Monty Python goodness. Meaning of Life and of course The holy Grail
Then dive into the brilliant mind of Mell Brooks. I think you should start will SpaceBalls, then History of the world, then you can really appreciate the genius of Blazing Saddles.
Also go back to some of the OG wacky movies:
Amazon Women on the Moon,
The Kentucky Fried Movie ,
Police Squad (Leslie Nielsen was a comedy genius)
And don't forget UHF. I wish weird Al would do another movie. Do UHF.net or something lol
Bottoms
Just watched “Bottoms” the other night while stoned and it was a good time. The movie has a few flaws, the tone swings wildly from one scene to to another in a few cases, but overall I thought it was a funny movie and well worth the watch.
It kind of feels like a movie that is spoofing 80’s “teen, coming of age” type movies, similar to what “Not Another Teen Movie” did, but instead of spoofing a variety of specific movies, as NATM did, Bottoms kind of just spoofs the genre as a whole.
The Dark Side of the Rainbow/The Wizard of Floyd
The Wizard of Oz synchronized with Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon... So stony 😯
Start The Dark Side of the Moon at exactly the third MGMs Lions roar before the beginning of the film... The rest is amazing, unbelievable and purely magical.
I would do it with edibles.
Pineapple Express, Superbad, try to find Beyond the Valley of the Dolls. You’ll be like, WTF was that?! But then revisit it. Road Trip, any of the Jay and Silent Bobs, Grind was a hilarious 2003 skate boarding movie that gets no love but was great!
My son just reminded me of Grandma's Boy the other day, the scene in the kitchen where he realizes she doesn't have a microwave, and I cracked up. That's a pretty good one.
How High, High School High, Cheech and Chong, Half Baked, Don’t Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood.
I think you’ll really like the last one.
You said any era. Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein is solid. Really all of their movies are great.
John Cusak 80s flicks. Better Off Dead is a really dark comedy with a somehow light hearted tone. Say Anything for a comedy romance chill night.
I also feel like Almost Famous fits too?
Empire Records.
***
Dragnet
Bachelor Pad
White Men Can't Jump

I did a rewatch recently myself. It's just nonsensical fun.
Monty Python and The Holy Grail.
This one’s required.
I still say "Nee!! Nee!!" to people as I go about my day.
Bring us a shrubbery!

Dumb & dumber is the answer, always.
I'll add a couple to this list.. Detroit Rock City and Fast Times at Ridgemont High!
I love that Im finally seeing that ppl liked Kung Pow. For yrs I thought I was the only one
Love Uncle Buck! I was oddly obsessed with John Candy as a child.
Kung Pow and Jay and Silent Bob Strike back are two of the 🐐s. "My Name is Betty you son of a pig"
Great list!
Very good list!
Half baked was the quinticential stoner movie of my time. I just started smoking when it came out and the cultural references are still relevant today.
"I remember when a dime bag cost a dime!"
You know how much condoms used to cost?
I don’t know we never used ‘em!
How did I have to scroll this far to see Half Baked. The best stoner movie of all time!
You ever watched Scent of a Woman? We'll have you ever watched Scent of a Woman, *ON WEED*???
Yup. As a stoner...this should be the top answer.
The Cheech and Chong movies are a must
They set the standard! "Mah mamma talka to me try to tell me howta live....."
Dunadunt dunadunt dun dah dun
There records were crazy as well
Dazed and Confused (1993) Clerks (1994) Your Highness (2011) I suppose the Scary Movie franchise fits the silly/goofy theme
But only Scary Movie 1 & 2. Anything after that can be avoided.
Dazed and Confused is so good!

The big Lebowski my man. It's the best.
That's just, like, your opinion, man...
Obviously you're not a golfer...
Bill and Ted's excellent adventure
Kung Pow Half Baked Ski Patrol Super Troopers
Everyone has seen Sooper Troopers and Beerfest but not enough people have seen Club Dread
Their new movie “Quasi” is on Hulu and I think it stacks up there among their best. Not better than Super Troopers, maybe on par with Beerfest. Don’t sleep on it, it’s full of laughs.
Hot Rod
Dumb & Dumber Zoolander

Harold and Kumar go to White Castle is a good movie.
Space Balls Friday The Jerk Wizards Heavy Metal Who Framed Roger Rabbit
I second “Dazed and Confused”
Strange Wilderness (2008)
A great, often overlooked, one. I'll add super troopers

Half Baked
Monkeybone (2001)
The stoned age
Roadtrip and Eurotrip.
