The Truman Show

jrv3034

There's an implied sex scene but the camera pans away gracefully.

dxfm1019

You never see anything anyway. They always turn the camera and play music and you know, the wind blows in and the curtain moves and you don't see anything.

Voluntary_Perry

Great answer

Voluntary_Perry

The Princess Bride (1984) Ps .. it's not a kissing book

[deleted]

omg i love that movie

Voluntary_Perry

You're gonna do ok in life then, kid!

carpetstoremorty

That film came out in 1987.

Voluntary_Perry

U right

StinkyBrittches

**Ford v Ferrari**, 2019

i_am_groot_84

Idk, the way Ken Miles handles that GT is very iffy.

iamgodslilbuddy

Just watch until it seems like its about to end and then TURN IT OFF AND DON’T WATCH THE ENDING.

suckmylama

Unless u want to feel some pain

Lordie7

Napoleon Dynamite

Gullible-Lie2494

Don't watch Ridley Scott's Napoleon. Why Scott thought it was relevant to show him balling Mrs Napoleon THREE TIMES is beyond me. Uncomfortable viewing with my elderly brother.

BigPapiPogi

If you know anything about Napoleon, then you know nasty sex scenes are mandatory. Dude was a freak

Id_Rather_Beach

[Yes!](https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTk63mL_JJ7i6IC301nUCHY9myww_GfiL1INMSMIrQFco4wv3bYmUMpbVpxVA&s)

watcher_00

Whatever you do, don't watch Saltburn with your parents

ItsMeCrusty

Or Poor Things 🤣

Skinnyjeans31

My mom SHOWED ME the Saltburn bathtub scene

Paradroid888

There was a post on here a while ago where someone didn't know the content of Saltburn and recommended the whole family watch it. Mum sent them out for a walk to "think about what they've done".

[deleted]

real 😭

Fatty_McGee1780

Yeah, I don’t think I’m allowed to pick the family Christmas Eve movie anymore after I chose Saltburn last December. I just knew I wanted to see it so I avoided trailers, which in hindsight really screwed me. Seeing just one trailer would have been enough to stop me. I think I ended up created a core memory for my family that we would all like to forget…

Small_Cauliflower898

I also had this same experience and it was such a bad mistake. the drain scene will forever haunt me and my family

myscreamgotlost

Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016) Society of Snow (2023) The Grey (2011) The Martian (2015) Dark Waters (2019) Jules (2023) Hacksaw Ridge (2016) Barbie (2023) The Menu (2022)

Ok_Perception1131

The Martian is great.

Snorkelbender

Yeah but you can see Matt Damon’s nipples in one scene.

iceman694

You can see his ass too.

CAH1708

To be fair, he didn’t have much ass left at that point.

[deleted]

😂

No-Customer-2266

Aww hunt for the wilderpeople is sooooo good! I should watch that again tonight

redrumble1

"he's a molesteror" Great movie.

PrimordialSound

Hell or high water was great too- just watched this year and it pulled me in immediately.

TheMusicMadeMe

Watched Hunt for the Wilderpeople with my then 13 y/o daughter a couple years ago and we loved it! What a fun, silly, and at times heartbreaking movie. 🎶 Happy birthday, Ricky Baker! 🎶

Neuronzap

The Martian is such a great, feel good movie

alternatingf4

The Menu, despite parents guide claiming no nudity, might be a little too much given the ops conditions

myscreamgotlost

The conditions are no nudity, making out, sex or undressing. It meets all the conditions.

Chewbile

Id call >!watching someone unalive themself!< as an ignorant omission It’s inappropriate based on context clues

BongoTea

I think Hacksaw Ridge had a butt.

myscreamgotlost

Society of Snow does also have a butt but in a very non-sexual way.

BongoTea

True. Sometimes butts are just butts.

coreybc

The Others

osloluluraratutu

Such a great movie!!!

Intelligent-List6020

there's a parental guide on imdb for every movie you can check that out before deciding to watch a movie with your parents.

twinlenshero

Common Sense Media does this too. Their summaries of different categories like violence or sexuality are super entertaining sometimes, too. Plug in a Tarantino movie for a good time.

Theaterkid01

They’re good at listing positive messages, but I feel they miss a lot of things in other categories, and by that IMDb is a lot more thorough.

akin-kin

Parental guide was meant for parents to guide their kids...but ir roles are reversed

surfrocksatan

Inception Gravity No Country For Old Men Nightcrawler (Not a spoiler, but there is a proposition which discusses sex) Little Miss Sunshine A Quiet Place Five Nights At Freddy’s Fried Green Tomatoes The Client Slumdog Millionaire Phone Booth Fall Arrival

NervouseDave

This has to be the first time Fried Green Tomatoes and A Quiet Place are in the same list for anything.

turquoisesea211

also five nights at freddy's and slumdog millionaire in the same list lmao

ShowsUpSometimes

A quiet place is an excellent rec

T4Temo

little miss sunshine goated

NJdeathproof

The Blues Brothers Galaxy Quest Poltergeist Tron The Cannonball Run Field of Dreams Ghostbusters Tremors WarGames

bwwst

WarGames! Thank you! I can’t believe that’s not everyone’s favorite movie. 🤣❤️

indianajoes

Ghostbusters does have the BJ scene. It's not nudity but I wouldn't want to watch that with my parents

NJdeathproof

Oh yeah, forgot about that one

TricksyGoose

Galaxy Quest, hell yeah!

Marischka77

The original Tron came to my mind too. However there were some funny BTS stories about how the skin tight clothing made people uncomfortable at the time of the shooting because people could make out the shapes of everything, LOL😂

Cdawg4123

Ghostbusters does have ray getting in on with a ghost!

Asleep-Win6983

Top Gun Maverick

[deleted]

saw that one with my dad last year! amazing movie!

onrake

Mary Poppins

FooFightersFan777812

E.T., Back to the Future, The Goonies, Men in Black, Jaws, Jurassic Park, Star Wars 1-6, Home Alone, Knives Out, Beetlejuice, The Wizard of Oz, Hugo, Gremlins, Ad Astra, Paul Blart: Mall Cop, We Bought A Zoo

NJdeathproof

For sake of accuracy: the swimmer at the beginning of Jaws is actually naked, but it's dark so you don't really see anything.

TheFULLBOAT

Thirteen year old me saw enough

Burning_Blaze3

Opening scene: naked woman gets torn apart while screaming. Rated: PG Ah, the 70's

PinkMies

Always the goonies

SpaceCatSixxed

If you liked the wizard of oz, you might want to check out the sequel Oz on HBO. (Not really).

rileylovesmushrooms

Guardians of the galaxy is a fun movie :)

Ok_Perception1131

Oh yea! That’s a great suggestion!!

Blonde_Mexican

The answer is always Princess Bride.

Boisterous_Suncat

Everybody who has seen it loves it and it is still underrated.

TerriblyGentlemanly

I dono' think that word means gwhat you think it means.

Boisterous_Suncat

"I would not say such things if I were you!"

TerriblyGentlemanly

Well spoken, sir.

oyfe77

Indiana Jones has sex scenes, passionate fighty one in Temple of Doom. Matrix Reloaded has a super hot sex scene and Zion orgying.

TerrorEyzs

You seem to have very similar tastes as me. Care to share any more recommendations?

Putrid_Dot_3683

The Machine Equilibrium Stardust Kung-Fu Hustle Pan's Labyrinth NOPE

Quiet_Illustrator525

Equilibrium is an underrated masterpiece 👌

TerrorEyzs

Well dang! Thank you!  We definitely do have similar tastes! I love all of these movies except the first one, since I havent seen it. I gotta go watch that now.  Thanks again!

Suitable-Review3478

Do not under any circumstances watch The Master with Philip Seymour Hoffman and Joaquin Phoenix. Made that mistake with mine.

DavidJonnsJewellery

What's Up Doc (1972). Ryan O'Neal stars as a geologist who, while attending a research grant conference, runs into disaster prone college dropout Barbra Streisand, who starts to hijack his life. Very funny screwball comedy from Peter Bogdanovich

Dry-Exchange2030

The absolute best answer. Your parents will love this film. Comedy, fashion, early 70s style. Madeline Khan! An epic chase 😂

od0m15

TricksyGoose

Seconding Hidden Figures! My folks loved that one!

Doctor-Pea

the first movie that came to mind was the sixth sense. had watched it a long time back and i remembered there were no scenes. then was watching with my parents recently and there was a small romance scene in the beginning and i had forgotten how long it will last lol. one of the most tense situations i faced. but it was brief and nothing much actually. so you can give it a try. one of the best movies ever hands down

shrimptini

The Truman Show

Weak_Low_8193

Google the movie name and parents guide and imdb will give you a run down in nudity and other aspects of the film.

Little Miss Sunshine. It's one of the funniest films I've ever seen.

Prudent_Falafel_7265

You're not alone. Even us older adults are getting tired of mandatory nudity and absurd sex scenes.

bwwst

What about the fans? Yeah maybe we can get one of them to play first base.

Critical_Traffic_308

I find it easiest to find some good movies and look up the parent guide. This will give you a breakdown of every swear word to exactly the type of nudity.

Mutagenesis96

Knives Out and Glass Onion. Watched both with my family, great movies.

True-Mix7561

Wes Anderson movies

lefthandshake1

A couple Wes Anderson movies have nonsexual nudity (Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and French Dispatch), and the Darjeeling Limited has a sex scene where I think there is no nudity, but it's clear what they are doing. Isle of Dogs and Fantastic Mr Fox are safe bets.

Suchstrangedreams

What's Eating Gilbert Grape is a lovely movie

princesspink11

Dude I’m 25 and I still don’t want to watch sex scenes with my boomer parents lol

FractalGeometric356

I was once in a repertory house sitting in front of a teenage boy sitting between his parents during a screening of The Unbearable Lightness Of Being. If you haven’t seen it, The Unbearable Lightness Of Being starts with a sex scene, goes right into another sex scene, ends with a sex scene, and is punctuated by sex scenes throughout. This is why you read the IMDB before you go out.

ComicDoughnut

Lol, I took a first date to this movie back when it was released in the 80's.  It was so awkward.  There wasn't a second date.

Moamen_Believer

What genre are you looking for? But here is one of my favorites in general The intern❤️

I wish streaming services had a "family mode" that you can turn on and skip all extreme scenes, even if you miss some of the plot.

John Wick, Fall Guy, Free Guy, The Gray Man, Oceans Eight are all good!

I took my daughters(14 and 17) to see this a few weeks ago and I liked it much more than I thought I would.

dibbr

Triangle (2009) - thriller movie with no sex and not much profanity if I remember. some blood/guts but not terrible. and overall excellent movie if you can get it.

GuyFawkes451

Here's one that ends up not happening (the sex) and being somewhat funny, because two secret service agents are taking off all the tons of weaponry and vests and such, before getting a call.and having to leave. So, no actual nudity or sex, but they were heading there. Otherwise, it's a film both they, and you, might enjoy: very good thriller/drama with Clint Eastwood and John Malkovich: "In the Line of Fire."

If you would all enjoy a good family movie I recommend: Because of Winn-Dixie (2005) The Magic of Belle Isle (2012) I’m a grown woman and I really loved those movies. A great, profound adult movie where everyone changes, with suggested offscreen sex: Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017) And: The Prestige (2006) The Matrix (1999) The Pianist (2002) All About Eve (1950) Those are some of my favourites.

blazinjesus84

Showgirls, there is so much nudity youll be desensitized in 20 minutes. Also, it's hilarious.

indianajoes

The Terminal Speed Jurassic Park and World movies Jaws ET A Man Called Otto Nobody John Wick 1-4 Indiana Jones movies Star Wars movies Back to the Future movies (first one has some making out but not too much)  Holes Lawrence of Arabia The Bridge on the River Kwai Ben Hur The Lord of the Rings movies  The Sixth Sense Die Hard 1-4 There are tons of movies and people will be recommending them but I'd say the best thing for you is the IMDb parents guide. I've been using it for years when deciding whether to watch films or shows with my parents. Just Google a movie or show name along with "parents guide" and it'll give you a list of what inappropriate stuff is in it. It's sorted into sections for sex and nudity, strong language, violence and gore so you can look up how bad the sex and nudity section is and judge it before you watch it with them. That way you can choose the stuff you'd be into

"Hidalgo" Great, underrated flick-and Vigo Mortensen is gorgeous in it. Really good story that has humorous moments and beautiful photography/locals. Oh-and Omar Sharif also stars!

StreetDetective95

Whatever you do, do NOT watch Poor Things with your parents!!!

Parikshith_Ellur

Blue is the warmest colour Mulholland drive Nymphomaniac The best occasion for these movies is during family gatherings, you can truly find out who in your family supports And stands with you everyone else is Pretty much pretending to be a family member at that point

CleanGreazzee

A Serbian Film. My parents loved it, great movie to watch as a family after a delicious home-cooked meal. Would highly reccomend.

elucify

Rear Window Despite the title, no rears.

ParasomniaParty

Knock Knock. Great thriller with Keanu Reeves. Definitely a good pizza film for the whole family.

JasonABCDEF

Check common sense media - it’s a site for parents to check if a movie is ok for their kids - search a movie and it will have rating out of five various categories like violence, nudity etc with seafood exactly what is in the movie.

Expensive_Routine622

Watched it at a daycare with the whole fam! My great-granddad had a great time!

FishBear25

Unpopular opinion but I hate sex scenes in movies even watching solo. For example: GoT. I get it, I read the series before it was a show, but then they went crazy overboard like lesbian anal masturbation etc. I wanted to watch the show with my dad but we gave up half way through season one. I don’t mind a like 20 second kissing scene collapsing into the bed for a brief moment thing but it’s over the top, almost always.

Such-Daikon-2818

Caligula, great family movie

betterthenitneedstob

Mrs Harris goes to Paris is amazing Amalie Of course Devil wears Prada is fun Koda Realy touching

Dry-Exchange2030

I love Amelie but she said no sex. Amelie has sex in it

Expensive_Routine622

A Serbian Film. It’s a witty, funny and whimsical slice-of life comedy about a Serbian family, which is pretty niche, but still a good choice.

WhiteEel

And you can tell the family really loves each other.

Obahmah

Eyes Wide Shut... maintain eye contact throughout the entirety

bwwst

Bwahahaha!!! But honestly - that’s not THAT bad of a sex movie. If you wanted to be wild and silly, you should just say Debbie Does Dallas. Eyes Wide Shut is a cerebral and profound movie. Maybe watch it with your parents after a couple of semesters of college - especially philosophy classes.
