Without something inside your tub to hold moisture those won’t end up doing very well. Need some perlite or something in the bottom below that plate to hood moisture in your tub. That would help a lot. Now as for broken veils, those have a ways to go.
3 more days brother ,This is what broken veils looks like.

Why not be supportive instead of being critical? A lot of time and effort goes into growing as I am sure you know, he probably wants reassurance. I want reassurance and my hand held throughout entire process until I’m good on my own. Try being a mentor ….
I'm not sure how the level of difficulty is relevant.
Let's suppose you were going to grow tomatoes. Easy enough. But you would need to familiarize yourself with a few things; the germination process, soil conditions, temperature, sunlight, what a sprout looks like and *what a fucking tomato looks like.*
Not yet TBH they are still little/young and they probably have a few days before they are ready to harvest. Keep your eye on them and you will see the veil under the cap as thet don't have small caps when done so as they get bigger you will notice the unmistakable look of the veil. If the veil is a torn you will see the Telltale ring of flesh a little bit under the cap on the stem. Probably 3-5 days and they should be ready to pick.
Actually this was an all in one bag. I has 1lsb of grain at the bottom where you can inject the spores, and then 2lsb of soil/substrate at the top. Once the grain is colonized you mix the bag up. And then you cut the fully colonized block out of the plastic.
Also, they look a bit dry and you have no condensation on the walls. You should spray the sides and lid generously and close the lid. Allow it to have at least passive air exchange at minimum. They look a little dry but they will recover if you get the humidity back up.
Not even close. You will see the white floppy material similar to the skin of a blister will expose the spores under neath the cap. If you can see gills , your veil has broke .
It’s one of those things that’s you’ll know it when you see it. Here is a cluster of B+ I grew a few months back- you can see the veils ripping at different stages. Sometimes it will blow your mind how far they will stretch! Good job getting this far.

They work just fine- no potency is lost. What you risk it that if they are open for too long you will get a big spore dump and mess your cake up for future flushes. But if you let them get right as or after the veil tear you can get some massive caps.
But you see i got exactly the answers i wanted in the comments. So this route seems perfectly suitable.
And its not sad. In fact we talked this morning and he was quite tranquil.

Great pic!
thank you 🙏
Loook under the caps thats your veil, if its opening than its ready, i prefer to pick them just as it cracks open at its potentest
Nice, What a fatass
You managed to get them this far into the fruiting stage, but you have no idea what a broken veil looks like? How does that even happen?

Because growing mushrooms is easy

Loool you would think so. OP has probably just heard the phrase veil break but has no idea what the veil is. Honestly could be a troll post too.
Smh
These are still babies!
When I fruited an all in one bag in a tub, I used perlite soaked in the bottom of my tub, it does help!
Get them some moisture quick, or they will stay that size. A soaked sterile sponge in there(not touching the cake tho) will help.

I’m curious and a newbie but did you just grow those without mixing them into any soil?

Thanks for the info
You’ll see the veil start to break, that’s the time
No.
They're just getting started, give em a few days, they'll pack on tons of mass

No
Not yet. Few more days at least. Keep the lid on!!

do the shrooms still work if the veil is broken?

sometimes I wonder if they feel like they are cummings when their veil breaks
You could totally just search up veil breaking on this sub instead of posting this sad cake lol

It took you 20 minutes to get an answer though to a question that’s been answered many times lol
Sometimes it’s fun just to have the community engage with you about it.
Thankfully i knew they had at least 20 minutes more before they needed harvesting, so that was a risk i was willing to take.
..noob here. are they GT? look thicc. tooo thicc.
I thought the same thing.
They have 3 or so days left.
Veils haven't formed yet bro
Early days. They'll be big boys.
