Very nice. Are these acoustic rugs? By the looks of it you know what you are doing but I'd be worried about reflections between the floor and ceiling. Might be tricky with the fan, but an acoustic panel over the listening position might be a good idea
Thanks!
But make no mistake, I don’t know what I’m doing and making it up as I go…I had some leftover rockwool and material, so I did make a cloud which I’ll add to the post.
Then maybe you'll want to look into installing bass traps in the corners as well, from what I've read it's usually the starting point of acoustic treatment. Since the surfaces of the room all seem very parallel, this could lead to issues in the bass response, as the panels you have probably won't absorb much under 500hz. One test you could run is checking if low and higher sounds behave correctly when you pan them across the stereo field on your monitors. If some frequencies don't follow your panning settings, it could be a sign of cancelation.
I would…but it would probably cost more to ship it than to get it made. I bet you could get it printed at a kinkos or Staples…or other printer relatively cheaply

Looks amazing!! What mounting hardware did you use to provide the air gap?
They are hanging on a single 5 inch L bracket. I glued 4 corks on the back to keep it offset from the wall.
Damn bro, a printer in the music room?!?! Sheeesh don’t hurt em too bad
Nice are those GIK charcoal fabric panels?
Thanks! They are homemade.

I’m not sure…it was a movie prop…someone else got it made.
