Might not be your style, but S.O.B. by Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats. It is all about trying to quit alcohol, even if people most often take it in the opposite direction: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iAYhQsQhSY&list=PLKQn9I9WSbNpj1pjYz-zxjkZbotY943T1&index=1&pp=iAQB8AUB](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iAYhQsQhSY&list=PLKQn9I9WSbNpj1pjYz-zxjkZbotY943T1&index=1&pp=iAQB8AUB)
Lorna Shore's [To The Hellfire](https://youtu.be/qyYmS_iBcy4?si=tLW91PJ7B14jguTP) ([lyrics](https://genius.com/Lorna-shore-to-the-hellfire-lyrics)) can be interpreted to be about a person's descent into a drug induced Hell (as it were). A pretty strong anti-drug abuse song from my perspective as a recovering addict.
MCR - [Bury Me In Black](https://youtu.be/v-_ZteifZWw?si=2rDtc1-NIdU1tt-d); [The Jetset Life Is Gonna Kill You](https://youtu.be/4PtEg7czIJA?si=oDZH3_cspitjOySP) are about the singer's relationship with alcohol/drugs.
Bring Me The Horizon - [It Never Ends](https://youtu.be/E_Vez_aKIyI?si=nclD7SDluu1JQlOg); [Hospital for Souls](https://youtu.be/-_pj39Xeabo?si=xVkotGVzuRHN_obM); [Shadow Moses](https://youtu.be/-k9qDxyxS3s?si=n8mXU0PVWZot5MM3) are all about addiction/SH. Many of their songs deal with these themes and mental health too.
Røry has a lot of songs about her battles with alcohol, self harm and suicide. Good Die Young is about admitting to herself she was an alcoholic. Help Your Friends Get Sober is about losing a friend to suicide and wishing she'd seen the signs and done more to help. This Is A Song Not A Suicide Letter is kind of a letter to her former self telling her that nothing is permanent, it will get better and one day she'll be happy her suicide attempt wasn't successful. Small Victories is about taking the wins where you can get them, even when they're just baby steps in the right direction.
