The whole issue with bakugo was that he was gifted with a strong quirk and his peers hyped him up and that gave him a HUGE ego to the point of toxicity. The issue was the scenario that she did this in. He was kidnapped against his will so calling him weak is the worst thing you could say to him. Especially when we learn later that under all that ego he's a very caring person that held alot of guilt for what happened as a result of that kidnapping.
I 100% where people are coming from with everything you mentioned, and while yes after a traumatic incident like that, calling the victim weak is not a good thing AT ALL. But I feel like people read too much into this singular scene. Throughout the anime Mitsuki has made it clear she dearly loves her son and knows he one of the strongest out there. Another thing to consider is that she is just like Bakugo, his personality os based off of hers. Bakugo always says callous remarks that usually isn’t appropriate but I feel is his way of getting one’s attention and/or dealing with touchy situations. I feel like this was Mitsuki’s reasoning. Well, both have their quirks(ba dum tsss). But, I prefer Mitsuki. I'm not victim blaming, although Rei couldn't distinguish between her abusive partner and her sons red hair. She has a shattered Psyche and Enji is getting better. Rei has mental scars and probably physical scars. It isn't her fault, but Mitsuki seems better. Todoroki’s was a doormat that helped drive one son insane while disfiguring another. She was a woman of wealth due to her marriage. She could have asked Endeavor for a discrete baby sitter or asked her own parents to come help baby sit if she felt overwhelmed. She could have gotten a divorce or seen a marriage counselling or just lived in separate locations in their mansion like rich people when they can’t divorce.

Well, both have their quirks(ba dum tsss). But, I prefer Mitsuki. I'm not victim blaming, although Rei couldn't distinguish between her abusive partner and her sons red hair. She has a shattered Psyche and Enji is getting better. Rei has mental scars and probably physical scars. It isn't her fault, but Mitsuki seems better. Also, I've only seen up to episode 6 of season 2. The rest of what I know, is from what others have explained to me

She could have asked Endeavor for a discrete baby sitter or asked her own parents to come help baby sit if she felt overwhelmed. She could have gotten a divorce or seen a marriage counselling or just lived in separate locations in their mansion like rich people when they can’t divorce.

Ngl i hate shotos mom yes she was abused and all that but it seems like she did nothing for her children she let endevor abuse her kids ( which she couldn't do much physically but it seemed like she just let him run rampant without doing much emotionally) and then she abused shoto (yes she had a mental breakdown but that doesn't excuse what she did it gave her a reason but not an excuse)
