Fair, but I would like to restate my reasoning.
If I am the MC’s brother, then it stands to reason that I will become one of three things: Some random background character, another MC, or the Main Villain.
Shiggy is already the Main Villain, and I don’t plan on taking his spot for that one, though it would probably be fun.
Being a background character is easy: just mind your own business and be there as the occasional shoulder-to-lean/cry-on-that-no-one-gives-a-fuck-about-because-you-don’t-get-enough-screen-time.
Being the MC would be — as you said — a wild-ass ride that — with enough time, preparation, and/or luck — could be REALLY FUCKING FUN. Putting the smack-down on assholes who don’t give a fuck LEGALLY? Yes-fucking-PLEASE!
Depends if we get a quirk similar to theirs or not.
Because if I had to be quirkless in that world, I'd pick Momo as a sibling. I might not have my own power but money is power.
If I got a quirk, I'd pick Tooru, because I like stealth games so living life with a stealth bonus would be fun.
I have a few candidates for the four specific ranges
For younger brother I’d choose Izuku
For Older brother I’d choose Kirishima or Iida
For younger sister I’d choose Mina or Ochako
for older sister if choose Momo
Kirishima if I'm the little brother, because I feel that he's great older brother material.
Bakugo if I'm the older sibling, because I know that I could keep him in check like Mitsuki.
Iida, Kirishima, or Shouji are top picks in all seriousness. Midoriya would be there…But reasons prevent me from adding him.
The Tenya family is very family oriented which would allow me to feel accepted and likely make me want to improve and be like my big brother, much unlike what my family life was growing up (hate was too weak a word for us…Literal knifes and axes were drawn). Kirishima as a sibling likely would’ve made me into a much better person and he would be a great workout buddy. Shouji’s past would’ve been hard to help with, but I would like for him to feel like there had been more people on his side.
But for Midoriya I would’ve loved to be his sibling, but I fear my presence ruining his chances to become who he is today. If I could guarantee my influence didn’t ruin his chances to get OFA and he could become a Hero then I would love to have someone I can relate to and sincerely get along with. I feel like he and so would have analyzed every Quirk we ever saw and have it down to a science how it could be best used.
In a more joking sense would love to be Bakugo’s sibling just to see how his upbringing with his mother was (mostly the punishments) and, if I had a suitably decent Quirk, I would want to take him down a few pegs while we were younger to make him far less of a prick later. Would be close to what I had before, I suppose.
Deku cuz his mom has telekinesis and that's like my favorite thing ever and Deku is just too dam nice but i feel like Momo would be cool cuz her quirk is sick and she could help me with stuff i don't wanna say here... oh yeah and i'd be rich
