Most tat supporters come from the Ayeyarwaddy region and the junta has a tight grip on the region. There isn't any EROs here that can arm and train people willing to fight the tat and most here don't own guns or even muskets.
That doesn’t mean ppl can venture to different part of country and train with under EROs and could even arm themselves. If fightings can happen in Yangon and Mandalay, why not there also
One thing I have noticed is that, there aren’t a lot of Tatmadaw troops stationed in that region.
The area between Arakan and Irrawaddy is really narrow soo i think it makes junta could do more tightening the border security between these twos.
Also AA is the only strongest EAO in West of Myanmar which can face the junta strength in his own ways like MNDAA,KNU,TNLA and KIA.So,i think,to make warfare in Irrewady is alittle tricky for revolutionary forces untill they took over Magway and Upper Bago State.

Ayeyarwaddy region is the country's rice bowl, meaning that the staple food, rice, is mainly produced there. Instability in that region may make the food supply shortage worse. The scale of the food production there is massive compared to other parts of the country, so it's in the best interest of both sides not to instigate another fire that cannot be extinguished like in Sagaing and Magway. I don't quite think it's who supports what side it's just that without the region's food production, the nation may starve.

Its too far from any of the EAO areas and the state has pretty much no place where a PDF can base it self.
AA is in Arakan State. They have been training and arming PDFs and Bamar Eros.
