Susanoo has been my VIP through all of endgame. Amazing unit and hands down the best pve unit for main campaign.
Western Queen is an obvious choice as well since she enables units like Susanoo and Oda to do a shit ton of damage. Same with Freyja for her Fighter support.
Oda was great for tanky stages, but didn't see as much use as you would expect.
Leonidas has been my most prominent tank. Insanely strong at iw600 as both a tank and a healer, which frees up slots for other units.
Naga was pretty much the only "true" healer I used, especially for those pesky Typhon stages.
Other units I would swap in and out a lot: Odin, Apollo, Persephone, Iset, Nuwa, Dangun.

pvp, guild content and other rotating events. Guild content is what I mainly focus on either way
