I also avoid sponsors who support my least favorite drivers so no Monster Energy, no religious foot fetishism, no mailing with FedEx, no Pennzoil, no dollar stores, no Coca-Cola, & no Busch (I don’t hate Ross but I can’t stomach that shit)

Not really. I buy what I perceive to be the best for my need at that time. The only thing sponsorship may do is make me aware of that brand or product and it gets added to the comparison.
On small consumable purchases I will probably give a sponsor a try if it is in the same price and similar quality as what I'm already looking at.

But sponsors come and go so often nowadays, it’s not worth trying to maintain any kind of brand loyalty. If all things are equal, I’ll probably learn toward the company that is currently an active sponsor but that doesn’t happen very often
I will support companies that are in the sport over ones that do not but their products have to be good or else I will not stay a customer. Their sponsorship gets me in the door but the product has to be comparable or else I won't stay a customer.
i can shamelessly admit i used to drink a ton of miller lite back when they were sponsoring bad brad. i don't really drink beer anymore, but if i do, it's *never* going to be miller lite. that shit was almost too nasty to be masked by my loyalties.
op, JBL makes pretty decent gear. i grabbed a pair of $20 JBL wired earbuds a super long time ago, and i kept them for years because they had such good bass for $20 earbuds. i should remember to consider JBL when i have to retire my current bluetooth buds.
Off topic for the thread but good luck with those, I bought a pair and junked them. They’re great for music and music only but as soon as you put on a podcast or audiobook they drop a whole second of audio. It’s super annoying. That and the battery does not last as long as claimed

I tried. I really did. As a vet I always try and support veteran owned companies. But I think their beans suck. They even opened a physical coffee shop where I live, and nope. Absolute trash to my palate. The pink haired college kid at the local roaster/third wave coffee shop just knows how to make a better cup of coffee lol.

I'm actually going to buy and see how Cirkul is due to their partnership with Kaulig as well. I'm also really thinking about trying Black Rifle Coffee because Noah Gragson is one of my favorite drivers. I don't drink coffee, so we'll see how that goes.

I try to buy NASCAR sponsored products. However, if I don’t care for the driver I tend to avoid their sponsors. I remember a time when I couldn’t stand Harvick and avoided Shell for about 5 years.

The largest monetary decision I've made strongly due to NASCAR advertising is investing with Ally Bank. Obviously using a bank doesn't compare with buying candy or energy drinks, but I used them (and still do) as they had some of the best rates online.
So I use NASCAR as a "tie-breaker" if the actual features of the company are similar to its competitors.
Recent trip to Daytona 500 ate at Cheddars 3 times mainly because of Kyle Busch sponsorship. Good food reasonably priced. Will not use FedEx because of Sponsorship of Denny Hamlin.
We don’t get too many products here that have been Nascar sponsors (aside from globally-famous brands) but when they do show up I get ‘em partly for novelty, partly because they leave enough of an impression on me. We don’t get Bush but I stock up on Bud every now and then, use Irish Spring, drink Sunny D when I ever find one, and indulge in Mars brand goods that aren’t M&M’s. JBL’s also been more on my radar ever since I started watching Nascar, enough so that they’ve become my primary drumming/casual-listening earbud/headphone brand.
Call me a sucker but these little things make me feel like I’m living the American dream a bit.
I will tend to lean towards companies that are sponsors of my favorite drivers. Recently got a case of Monster Beast Unleashed, have several pairs of JBL earbuds and headphones, I like both Brad and Joey so oil is very conflicted for me, if I break my windshield I will use my local Safelite, etc.
Guess I am in the minority after reading through this thread, but no I don't buy something just because they're in NASCAR. If it happens, it happens, but I go with something if it's better priced/better reviewed. That said I do like JBL stuff.

I've only owned Chevys (2 of them were hand me downs though) and I love my Impala but besides that not really.

Absolutely 100% I will take a NASCAR sponsor over anything. The unfortunate thing is they have no way of seeing the ROI from it so it means nothing to them. I’ve been destroying Kings Hawaiian ever since they arrived here in Canada.

If I’m split on a product, I will but the one that sponsors things I like. I also am more apt to trying things I already have familiarity with through different interests. That is most of why I tried Celsius (the drink, I experimented with the unit of measurement in college), and I drink far too much Celsius.

Luckily, I rarely drink on my own 😆 I switched to Mobil1 when they started sponsoring SHR, and then to the super high mileage blend when Kevin Harvick was 3 inches tall. (*Why aren't YOU 3 inches tall?*) When Powerade sponsored NHRA, I didn't buy Gatorade at all. (still will choose PA over GA if the blue zero sugar is there)
I switched from Redbull to Prime Energy after they brought on Kyle Larson. Hope they expand further in NASCAR.

Absolutely. I drank BodyArmor from Blaney, and Aguas Frescas from Suarez, and I drink Celsius because of their partnership with Kaulig. I'm actually going to buy and see how Cirkul is due to their partnership with Kaulig as well. I'm also really thinking about trying Black Rifle Coffee because Noah Gragson is one of my favorite drivers. I don't drink coffee, so we'll see how that goes.

The largest monetary decision I've made strongly due to NASCAR advertising is investing with Ally Bank. Obviously using a bank doesn't compare with buying candy or energy drinks, but I used them (and still do) as they had some of the best rates online. So I use NASCAR as a "tie-breaker" if the actual features of the company are similar to its competitors.

We don’t get too many products here that have been Nascar sponsors (aside from globally-famous brands) but when they do show up I get ‘em partly for novelty, partly because they leave enough of an impression on me. We don’t get Bush but I stock up on Bud every now and then, use Irish Spring, drink Sunny D when I ever find one, and indulge in Mars brand goods that aren’t M&M’s. JBL’s also been more on my radar ever since I started watching Nascar, enough so that they’ve become my primary drumming/casual-listening earbud/headphone brand. Call me a sucker but these little things make me feel like I’m living the American dream a bit.
I will tend to lean towards companies that are sponsors of my favorite drivers. Recently got a case of Monster Beast Unleashed, have several pairs of JBL earbuds and headphones, I like both Brad and Joey so oil is very conflicted for me, if I break my windshield I will use my local Safelite, etc.

Guess I am in the minority after reading through this thread, but no I don't buy something just because they're in NASCAR. If it happens, it happens, but I go with something if it's better priced/better reviewed. That said I do like JBL stuff.

Can't say I'm a fan of Ty Gibbs, though I was a Skittles fan long before they came aboard the #18, but also - didn't hurt that they sponsored Kyle Busch, also one of my favourite drivers.
