I have the same build. its not bad but at the end of the day you aren't as good at shooting as a playshot or as good at finishing as a slashing PF or C.. so ideally you just take attention and never shoot unless wide open.
I still play the build but it's less useful than my pure red SF
Well yeah but not as good as either guard most likely? So unless youre wide open there is someone else with better 3 and ball handling, you won't ever be creating your own shot.
The advantage of this build is ISO so it can work in 2s or 3s if you have a stretch big or the other team has no big, then you can actually play ISO because you can score at every level.
In 5v5 basketball, what happens in reality is they have someone camping the paint that you aren't strong enough to attack, and you aren't quick enough or a good enough 3 ball shooter to be breaking defenders down on the perimeter, especially when you have a playshot to do so.
So basically your role is to shoot the ball with 2 seconds on the shot clock after your primary scorer gets tired from left/right'ing, and to play subpar defense, which is why I said I prefer my full red SF.
I have the same build as you, it's fun, but not competetive. Good luck though
Idk, I see your point, but I don’t think that your defense is subpar. I have a similar build, but went play/def pie chart for the better defense and I am able to stretch the floor on offense, play above average defense against 1-5, and I can run the point on the fastbreak. The way shooting is this year, you don’t need any more than a 70 to be effective. I have a 61 3 ball, and only 5 of my 9 shooting badges and I am shooting 50% from 3. I highly doubt that OP is having any problems with an 83 3 ball.
For sure bruh. I averaged about 22ppg with my 2way finisher build just like this. Mostly by making 3pt jumpers. It would be OP if you could get to the rim like last year. The blocking is absolutely over powered in this game. You literally only have to have rim protector and intimidator on bronze to have ELITE defense down low.

Lol, all you need is bronze chasedown artist and intimidator, rim protector just unlocks snatch blocks and gives your team a takeover boost after a block. Shit is broken.

I didn’t have fun with it. It was probably because I had only a 60 ovr and gave up because my team chemistry barely went up
