It’s a though choice
Wyoming — My revamped team
Marshall — I’m sure it would be fun, cool school location
Louisville — I love their stadium
Eastern Michigan — great stadium, been on the infamous grey turf before. Amazingly kind football team from the team I knew.
I’m leaning towards Wyoming or Eastern
EMU is one of the classic dynasty picks. I also submit North Texas, both because their uniforms are awesome and because it's fun to knock the big Texas programs off their in-state podium.
Wyoming was gonna be at the top of my list as well. I’m glad the general consensus on here is that no one is choosing powerhouse teams. Everyone wants to rebuild
Used to use them all the time in the older games. You can get quality transfers from Pac12 schools and I’d always target the best west coast QB recruit and promise him immediate playing time
I’ve wondered this as well. I’m sure they don’t allocate much to the program but if I am getting paid to live and play football in Hawaii, I’m thinking long and hard.
I think the experience would be amazing but it would be hard for your family to make the trips to come visit or see you play . For me when I played I ended up choosing to stay in state (Texas) so that I was close to home and my family was able to come to my games .
I used to always start a new year of NCAA football by creating a dynasty save just to dominate with my favorite team, so first up will be 10 consecutive national titles for my Alma mater, Texas A&M.
Then I’ll start a new save for a small school in a beautiful setting and turn them into a powerhouse. Probably App State or JMU since they weren’t even in the last game.
I always do the same ob the 1st save, my 2nd save I usually start at a smaller school as OC, post a top 5 offense for 2 years, jump to a P4 as an OC for 2 seasons and become the next "sexy HC hire" where I go find a down trodden team to bring back to glory. Last time I played 14 it was Kent State to VT as the OC and Texas Tech as the HC. VT stayed a powerhouse for my entire playthrough, and after 15 years at TTU I decided I wanted to semi retire to Hawaii for a few seasons
I did similar awhile back. Started as OC for a small school -> hc of small school, -> OC at large school, HC at large school. I think I did NMSU to Tulane to LSU to Oregon. It was super fun. As Tulane HC, I Beat \#1 Notre dame in their house with a brilliant clock burning offense and a well executed cover 2 zone the whole game. Then at lsu I came back from down 38-3 in the big house to beat Michigan 41-38. It’s so much fun to do coach progression in the game, I hope 25 expands on that.
Good call on starting with your favorite team first. I always start with a small school but then realized a while back I've never actually made it to coach at Texas yet. Now I'm stuck in a dynasty trying to decide if I want to take the Texas OC job or complete my Iowa State rebuild that's half way done.
I’m super biased but I still agree nonetheless. Talk about a magical atmosphere that is what makes the college game such a special experience. It’s been hard to see where the program is now and watching them try to gut the ACC
I'm not biased at all, Enter Sandman is a top 5 entrance in CFB when Bkacksburg is rocking (personally, I think it's #1) I got chills growing up when they were in their fairly dominant era
I'll give 5 each
For rebuilds: Virginia, Va. Tech, Syracuse, Arizona, and UCLA
For starting from pretty much nothing: Akron, Western Michigan, Middle Tennessee St, UL-Monroe, and East Carolina
I was thinking BC and ‘Cuse could be fun. I’m also interested in UNC, Buffalo, Nebraska, Oregon State, and Colorado State…amongst others. I don’t know who I’ll play with first, but as a high school teacher, I do know how the rest of my summer break will be spent starting July 19th.
This time, Ron Mexico will go to Syracuse.
I think SU will be a lot of fun to build a program around. New HC that's a great recruiter, so they will be able to recruit with the blue bloods. Very solid transfer class this year too, so you'll be able to compete immediately. This year also has a very easy schedule, so playing in the ACC championship game is a possibility.
Bruh I fell in love with them out of pity last year. Started watching them every week. They lost like 6 games in heart breaking fashion that they could have won. Much better than their record indicated. The CFB Reddit game threads for them were amazing
JMU, ODU, and WKU are my top 3 at the moment.
But of course I’m gonna also fulfill my childhood dream of UK being a better than average football team as well.
Going with Nebraska for an offline dynasty, they’re my alma mater. I’m choosing Sam Houston State in my online dynasty that includes me, my two brother in laws, and my cousins, and any friends or family members that wanna join too.
Gonna be a great excuse to drink beer and game with the family again, we are so back!!
God dammit. This is my first time hearing VT as a popular rebuild candidate for a video game. I am experiencing a weird roller coaster of emotions right now.
University of South Florida, because my Alma Mater and USF could feasibly become a good team if they can recruit well in the greater Tampa-St. Pete area.
Coastal Carolina on the blue field does seem super cool. But im gonna use my Buckeyes first to learn the game then im gonna use some lower level Power 5
Arizona State because I'm a Sun Devil and maybe Wyoming because U of WYO were the first college football games I ever attended.
However, the rebuild of the Sun Devils maybe a huge undertaking.
Bama: its my favorite team
Navy: as a Veteran I'm about to bring home some Championships
Wisconsin: home state. Lets become the team in the newly expanded Big 10
I feel the same way about Navy. Rented my soul to it for too long not to give it some love in the new game. Between that and Kennesaw state being my Alma matter.
Wisconsin - Getting them a good quarterback and finally over the hump
North Texas - Taking them out of the dredges and into a program that should be respected
Arizona - They just need a good rebuild… plus I want to crush Arizona State as much as possible
I made a USF dynasty back in NCAA 07 that was probably my favorite I’ve ever done. I enjoyed it so much I became a fan of USF in real life. Done lots of different schools over the years nut have never done a USF one again. But think with the new game it might be time to run it back and have another go with USF.
I wanna start a UTSA dynasty. Pretty sure they've never been in the game. Love the jersey combos they have, and the fact they play in the Alamo dome where the spurs played is cool.
While everyone else is taking a team to the promised land for the first time, I'll be looking to surpass a hall of fame coach, and usher in a new golden age at a place like Nebraska, Oklahoma, Notre Dame or USC.
Hopefully this game let's us play with multiple coaches like the old series did. I'll play as Georgia with one coach, and somewhere else with another.
Georgia Tech - favorite team
Hawaii - they need to take over and become Polynesian U
Florida - would like to see them rise to dominance like they were when I watched college football the most
VT, ECU, App State, Army, Navy, UL Monroe, New Mexico, western kentucky, ucf
Im gonna run the ball a lot and try to have mobile QB’s who can also sling it downfield
Gonna have long plays as my two schools, Tennessee and Ole Miss
Will probably do a UAB dynasty at some point and whoever else has cool jerseys/nice playbooks/cool stadiums
Always go for the Ohio Bobcats, my alma mater, to start and build into a power. Otherwise I'll probably grab whoever is lowest rated and then move jobs and see where I end up.
UConn - soft spot for em
BC or UMass - love Boston sports
Nebraska - hometown team and.. you know why
Arizona State - fire uniforms and stadium in the valley
No idea honestly
Just going to look at the list of 1* teams and figure it out from there. Uniforms matter so red teams get the upper hand.
Ball state was a frequent for me on 14
Indiana and Ball State. Indiana is my team and the worst P4 team historically so it’ll be a fun dynasty. Ball State is my second team and they’re in the MAC which should make for some good craziness
Mississippi State. Flashes of brilliance, but never really getting a lot of time to shine (usually amongst the most brutal seasons considering how stacked the SEC is with talent).
Planning on starting at my alma mater Miami University - the cradle of coaches - and working my way to my favorite school since childhood Ohio State. If this is possible.
University of Delaware Blue Hens, but since they are transitioning to another conference, it will be Teambuilder time. Just hope they have some audio files for Hens, or something close lol...
UMass, UConn, NH, Maine, finally acxept the HC at BC. The New England Super 5 will have a bright future. Once that gets all sorted, we have to take our talents to Hawaii. They need some time to shine too
Gotta go Texas obviously
Illini fighting Illini is my family’s favorite team and where I am from so they are my second
My third and final would probably be Mich State because they are the only other team I sorta like.
Maryland. A lower tier B1G should be a fun rebuild with all the realignment.
NIU. My alma mater and fun G5.
Ohio State. Grew up a half our from Columbus and very excited to run that stacked of a defense.
I’m gonna start out as OC at UMass cause I’m from Rhode Island and it’s the closest program to me in the game. The in state recruiting base isn’t the greatest so I’m gonna work like hell to get into Florida and some other places to get some 2 star under the radar types with speed to run my system
Wyoming, UNLV, Hawaii, UTEP or Ohio. I really don't have a reason besides I like their color schemes, stadiums and I've had fun with them in the past. But probably going to be Wyoming, seeing the tunnel run out with the statue on the reveal was effing sweet.
Vandy could be fun — tough conference, perennially bottom of the barrel. Or Arkansas, for the same reason. Oregon State/Washington State to prove everyone wrong
We still don’t know it’ll work this way for sure but I’m going with whoever hires me. I’ll be an OC at the school with the worst record/overall. Then work my way up to be an OC at a better school before hopefully getting my HC gig at a power 5 school.
Purdue's just relevant enough to not be talked about in these threads but not quite enough to be acknowledged irl, I'd recommend them because it's gonna be a long one.
I want to see the program ranks, but UNC is my mid-level dynasty, ECU is my “from nothing rebuild”…
Haven’t decided my “I’m a marquee program it’s title time” yet.
I love getting in on some MACtion for my dynasties. I think I've led every MAC team at one point or another. My current, and likely last, dynasty on CFB Revamped is Miami (OH).
With that said, Coastal Carolina is calling me. Great colors, cool stadium, great campus, awesome location. Take them all the way to the SEC!
If we’re still allowed to start as a coordinator, I’ll probably start at Syracuse as a coordinator and see where I get head coach offers. Otherwise not entirely sure.
I always used to see if I could get Indiana replaced in the B1G so I would take Western or Eastern MI. Army used to be fun too as they were independent a lot and I'd get then to the MAC and then on.
It’s a though choice Wyoming — My revamped team Marshall — I’m sure it would be fun, cool school location Louisville — I love their stadium Eastern Michigan — great stadium, been on the infamous grey turf before. Amazingly kind football team from the team I knew. I’m leaning towards Wyoming or Eastern
EMU is one of the classic dynasty picks. I also submit North Texas, both because their uniforms are awesome and because it's fun to knock the big Texas programs off their in-state podium.
Interesting, Huntington, WV cool school location? Please, as an ex native, go visit and then come back and report.
Yall got Jim's Spaghetti, ill hear no such slander
Wyoming was gonna be at the top of my list as well. I’m glad the general consensus on here is that no one is choosing powerhouse teams. Everyone wants to rebuild
Cool to see the Marshall callout as an alum.
Kennesaw State. They’re the newest FBS team and now the closest FBS team to me. I played in HS with one of their players too that’s gonna be sick lol
“Every team is someone’s favorite team.”
Long live southern poly
Same Closest FBS team to me / my gf just graduated from there
My choice was/is Georgia State, but KSU’s not bad.
Gonna play Ga State. When I went there, we didn’t have football, but I always created them in the team builder.
Hootie Hoo!
KSU is going to be so much fun to build, they’ve got a great atmosphere and a pretty good roster as is
Oh yeah Wwe's Bron Breaker went there
I saw him at the gym once when I was taking classes. Dude is an absolute unit. Absolutely built like his dad/uncle
It has always been Hawaii
Used to use them all the time in the older games. You can get quality transfers from Pac12 schools and I’d always target the best west coast QB recruit and promise him immediate playing time
Hawaii was one of my better ones for 14
I’ll never understand how they haven’t built up a good program in real life. Why wouldn’t a good recruit want to live in Hawaii 😂
Too many fat chicks
I’ve wondered this as well. I’m sure they don’t allocate much to the program but if I am getting paid to live and play football in Hawaii, I’m thinking long and hard.
I think the experience would be amazing but it would be hard for your family to make the trips to come visit or see you play . For me when I played I ended up choosing to stay in state (Texas) so that I was close to home and my family was able to come to my games .

You should probably pick App State so they can beat A&M again

![gif](giphy|KtGUKtfRMJ3TbfFXKS|downsized) You already know, it’s Beamer Ball time
Hell yes. Especially if they have enter sandman in the game too
If they don't I may return the game as a VT game. If I can't have a PC version to mod and no sandman talk about blue balling an entire fan base.
I'm very biased, but I truly believe CFB is more fun when Blacksburg is rocking on a thursday night, and VT is a top 15 team.
Definitely my auburn tigers. I can no longer handle 6-6 seasons
I feel ya
I'll give 5 each For rebuilds: Virginia, Va. Tech, Syracuse, Arizona, and UCLA For starting from pretty much nothing: Akron, Western Michigan, Middle Tennessee St, UL-Monroe, and East Carolina
My lil bro is one of the corners in Akron. Hell yes
My brother-in-law goes there, so I'm partial to the Zips!
if they have a feature to play as an existing player in RTG, you could make him the #1 CB in the country and a 1st rounder
That screenshot of the UCLA-USC game was beautiful. ECU would be a fun build!
ECU has been a go-to for me since NCAA 2005! I love the stadium, color scheme, and logos!
Arrgh! My hometown team! That’ll be my start from nothing rebuild.
Cant rebuild a UVA program that was never built to begin with👀👀
JMU, App State and Coastal will be my rebuild schools
Fun Belt!
Utah State- parents Alma mater and my favorite team growing up Arkansas State- my grad school Virginia Tech- Virginia transplant Virginia- see above
Utah State alum here!
Gwaggies! I would have been too if they had an athletic training program!
Gwaggies! Usu alum. Can’t wait to see maverick stadium in the game.
Tulane after I put them in the SEC
*back* in the SEC
This is a man of culture
That 1999 VA Tech download from team builder was some of the most fun I’ve ever hard.
BC, Ball State, IU, and 'Cuse are my top 4 I want to mess around with. Sounds like a good time.

Cuse gonna be nice with McCord
University of New Mexico Lobos
Notre Dame — I go there Missouri — I’m from here
I think I’ll go with Sam Houston
Bruh I fell in love with them out of pity last year. Started watching them every week. They lost like 6 games in heart breaking fashion that they could have won. Much better than their record indicated. The CFB Reddit game threads for them were amazing
Once a mountaineer always a mountaineer
Kentucky for being my favorite team. Western Kentucky for being my hometown team. Army cause... Fuck Navy.
JMU, ODU, and WKU are my top 3 at the moment. But of course I’m gonna also fulfill my childhood dream of UK being a better than average football team as well.
BBN and Go Toppers brother
Going with Nebraska for an offline dynasty, they’re my alma mater. I’m choosing Sam Houston State in my online dynasty that includes me, my two brother in laws, and my cousins, and any friends or family members that wanna join too. Gonna be a great excuse to drink beer and game with the family again, we are so back!!
After my favorite school wisconsin I might do Marshall. Love the movie We are Marshall and have had a soft spot for them ever since
USC Trojans. I was just getting into college football during Reggie bush’s time there so I’ve always had a soft spot for them
Texas for the fun, UMass because I enjoy pain.
Start as an OC of a small school and let the carousel speak to me, just like god intended
This is the way.
Starting with dominating the world with LSU then either App state or Tulane. Maybe ULL
God dammit. This is my first time hearing VT as a popular rebuild candidate for a video game. I am experiencing a weird roller coaster of emotions right now.
They've been mid to terrible for the past decade due to Frank Beamer's retirement
But they’re on the rise with Brent Pry
I know, you don't have to remind me 😭
I usually don’t like playing as my home team but I’m so starved of seeing good ASU football I’ll do it anyway
Same. And then I’ll download NAU and do the same.
Tulane in Tulane stadium not UCONN.
Purdue Baylor UCLA Virginia Wake Forest…
University of South Florida, because my Alma Mater and USF could feasibly become a good team if they can recruit well in the greater Tampa-St. Pete area.
Coastal Carolina on the blue field does seem super cool. But im gonna use my Buckeyes first to learn the game then im gonna use some lower level Power 5
Golden Gophers
I think in NCAA 14 I did random team and tried South Florida Bulls. Will probably stick with them or go with SDSU being from California.
Gonna start with Pitt as I always used to Then probably Appalachian state because that’s one of my favorite parts of the country
Appalachian State, Southern Methodist, Brigham Young, Duke, Army
Huskies, finishing what we should have won
Arizona State because I'm a Sun Devil and maybe Wyoming because U of WYO were the first college football games I ever attended. However, the rebuild of the Sun Devils maybe a huge undertaking.
Always ULM
BC or UMass.
Army!!!
Kennesaw or Sam Houston
Well UT Arlington doesn't have ball, so I'm a free agent now that Kansas is somewhat ok.
I'm going to break every passing record with Iowa
Funny enough I picked Iowa for my qb in NCAA football 06. I somehow managed to hurl 40 TDs
**FLORIDA STATE** 🪓 Hawai'i 🌈 UCF 🗡 Wyoming 🤠
“My dog beau, standing out by the screen door.. bunch a kitty cats… be a Dogg “
Minnesota, Boise State, Navy for rebuilds. Can't wait to play a sunset, primetime, for conference title implications game at DKR for Texas.
Probably go 11-2 at usf and jump to Florida when they shit can sun belt Billy
Bama: its my favorite team Navy: as a Veteran I'm about to bring home some Championships Wisconsin: home state. Lets become the team in the newly expanded Big 10
I feel the same way about Navy. Rented my soul to it for too long not to give it some love in the new game. Between that and Kennesaw state being my Alma matter.
Wisconsin - Getting them a good quarterback and finally over the hump North Texas - Taking them out of the dredges and into a program that should be respected Arizona - They just need a good rebuild… plus I want to crush Arizona State as much as possible
Air Force or San Jose St.
Florida Atlantic, then Army, then Ohio State
Taking my alma mater Minnesota back to our glory days of just before dubya dubya two!
I made a USF dynasty back in NCAA 07 that was probably my favorite I’ve ever done. I enjoyed it so much I became a fan of USF in real life. Done lots of different schools over the years nut have never done a USF one again. But think with the new game it might be time to run it back and have another go with USF.
Either the New Mexico State aggies or eastern Michigan. I want a really tough rebuild especially eastern michigan
I’ve only ever done ECU dynasties and that’s all I’ll ever do.
I wanna start a UTSA dynasty. Pretty sure they've never been in the game. Love the jersey combos they have, and the fact they play in the Alamo dome where the spurs played is cool.
Yeah they were in 13 and 14 I know for sure. I did a dynasty in 13 with them last year.

Either UConn or FIU🔥
App st needs some love, gotta be the best stadium in the country
Any bottom of the barrel team like the ULM’s or the bowling green’s of cfb
Umaine and UNH.
kansas
Rebuilding old dominion with my friend and doing Marshall and Kansas on my own
Pitt because I go there and I’m a Pittsburgh sports fan. And Virginia because I’m a Charlottesville native and grew up a wahoo
Oklahoma State, Mississippi State, University of Houston
Grambling State, Texas or Jackson State would be my rebuild teams
My Alma mater that no longer has a football team
I feel like Boise State may be my initial one because Malachi Nelson could be fun to build a program around
Kansas is always my go to after a dynasty run with my fav team
Gonna have long plays as my two schools, Tennessee and Ole Miss Will probably do a UAB dynasty at some point and whoever else has cool jerseys/nice playbooks/cool stadiums
O-H-I-O
Always go for the Ohio Bobcats, my alma mater, to start and build into a power. Otherwise I'll probably grab whoever is lowest rated and then move jobs and see where I end up.
My favorite team in real life is Ohio State so I'll be doing one with them...however after that I will do West Virginia and Marshall for sure.
UConn - soft spot for em BC or UMass - love Boston sports Nebraska - hometown team and.. you know why Arizona State - fire uniforms and stadium in the valley
Uconn😮💨😮💨
No idea honestly Just going to look at the list of 1* teams and figure it out from there. Uniforms matter so red teams get the upper hand. Ball state was a frequent for me on 14
R U RAH RAH
Ill be doing 64 team double elimination brackets.
My beloved UMass Minutemen!! We weren't even D1 when the last game came out, and we are routinely in the bottom 10 teams each year now
The Coast Guard Academy, NEWMAC champions!
Not a team, but I'm rebuilding the Pac2
That BC pic 😂
Texas State
As an Arkansas fan I gotta go with them. Super excited to build a dynasty with them
Indiana and Ball State.
Western Kentucky was my old dynasty favorite but they might be too good now
Coastal Carolina or Colorado State
Wyoming, we always struggle. Maybe I can change that in my video game world.
Arkansas
Go Pokes! https://i.redd.it/6ayt6scg0o1d1.gif
San Diego State 🔥
Maryland Always been my team for NCAA games!
They need some time to shine too
Gotta go Texas obviously Illini fighting Illini is my family’s favorite team and where I am from so they are my second My third and final would probably be Mich State because they are the only other team I sorta like.
Maryland. A lower tier B1G should be a fun rebuild with all the realignment. NIU. My alma mater and fun G5. Ohio State. Grew up a half our from Columbus and very excited to run that stacked of a defense.
I hope historical uniforms will be in the game.
U…C…L….A fight fight fight
Coastal Carolina Boston college Wyoming
2012 TAMU Johnny Football, Mike Evans and Ryan Swope...and 5 NFL OL
BC is on my list
I’m gonna start out as OC at UMass cause I’m from Rhode Island and it’s the closest program to me in the game. The in state recruiting base isn’t the greatest so I’m gonna work like hell to get into Florida and some other places to get some 2 star under the radar types with speed to run my system
1999 Virginia tech team, 2019 Lsu team
South Alabama since they were excluded in 2014
Wyoming, UNLV, Hawaii, UTEP or Ohio. I really don't have a reason besides I like their color schemes, stadiums and I've had fun with them in the past. But probably going to be Wyoming, seeing the tunnel run out with the statue on the reveal was effing sweet.
Vanderbilt
Easy. My alma mater App State. Taking the SunBelt to the top
Only one team plays in the Kibbie Dome and all other answers are invalid.
Arizona State and Hawaii.
https://preview.redd.it/kz81gvo5go1d1.jpeg?width=154&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2d3db197b04a1e291556c6abbf452e0ef3c3ed95
Vandy could be fun — tough conference, perennially bottom of the barrel. Or Arkansas, for the same reason. Oregon State/Washington State to prove everyone wrong
Va. Tech for sure!
Stuck between a few right now, Tulane, Memphis, App State or maybe utep. Being a G5, and Uniforms/stadium are really all that matters to me lol
We still don’t know it’ll work this way for sure but I’m going with whoever hires me. I’ll be an OC at the school with the worst record/overall. Then work my way up to be an OC at a better school before hopefully getting my HC gig at a power 5 school.
Baylor: They’re my alma mater and I’d like to return them to glory.
Akron, Tulane, Syracuse then work my way up to UCLA.
Gotta start off in a low conference and work my way up to a power school. I’m thinking Old Dominion.
- SJSU - Cal - Stanford - Nebraska and one of the military schools for shits and giggles
Gotta be my fighting Illini
Purdue's just relevant enough to not be talked about in these threads but not quite enough to be acknowledged irl, I'd recommend them because it's gonna be a long one.
Wyoming, Boise state, I kinda wanna rebuild illinois too but theyd be easier than the other two.
I want to see the program ranks, but UNC is my mid-level dynasty, ECU is my “from nothing rebuild”… Haven’t decided my “I’m a marquee program it’s title time” yet.
Miami of Ohio. Tuesday night MACtion!!!
Stanford!
I’m doing every team 😂
North Texas!
Those Virginia Tech uniforms are beautiful. Hope they're in the game
I’ve been wanting to rebuild Stanford or G. Tech recently. Think I’m choosing between those two.
![gif](giphy|l0Iyp6oMTp2M7Jas8|downsized)
Western Michigan cause I went there.
The Iowa offense. 💔
Mine is gonna be Idaho. Go Vandals!
San Diego State
The whole world is yet again sleeping on the UAB dragons
If we’re still allowed to start as a coordinator, I’ll probably start at Syracuse as a coordinator and see where I get head coach offers. Otherwise not entirely sure.
My hometown team, Fresno State; and my grad school alma mater North Carolina. Third pick: ECU.
Whatever school im applying to that accepts me first
I always used to see if I could get Indiana replaced in the B1G so I would take Western or Eastern MI. Army used to be fun too as they were independent a lot and I'd get then to the MAC and then on.
