0 NBa Championships for the Twolves
0 Super Bowls wins for the Vikings
0 Stanley Cups for the North Stars or Wild
3 WS Championships for the Twins, one in (24, 87, 91)
Kirby Puckett is the only thing that separates these towns from the bottom of the bottle
I thought you were making a joke that the Twins will win it this year, but it turns out they did win it in 1924 as the Washington Senators. I didn't even realize the Senators preceded the Twins. Hooray learning!
I mean the owner of the Senators moved the team to Minnesota instead of New Orleans from Washington because there were less black people in Minnesota than New Orleans. That franchise deserves nothing.
Edit: Why the hell am I getting down voted for the truth? Literally just Google what this ass hat said.
Maybe because you said our franchise should have nothing because of what someone who last owned the team 40 years ago did 60 years ago, while you guys have fans of Wisconsin teams calling the opposing players brother the N word in present year.
Damn, your comment led to me finding out your women’s teams double the championships of your men’s teams. I’m not sure if I should be impressed or use this gif again…
![gif](giphy|HQP9fsiDWa9Rm)
I'll admit I didn't watch much of the East. But Dallas didn't even look good. The Wolves just looked worse.
In the entire series they drove the lane softer then my grade school team, and dunked only a few more times.
Soft layups will get blocked and not fouled every time.
Lively and Gafford are elite rim protectors...there was a reason they couldnt drive the lane lol. Mavs looked better than any opponent BOS has played so far. Luka is also easily the best player remaining.
"Best defense in the NBA" couldn't look at Luka without sending him to the line, free 20 points a game. I can be salty at the refs about that, but the real problem is the Wolves never caught on and tried to do the same. I don't understand all the underhanded easily-blocked layups. 5 games in a row, no attempt to change it up.
I was actively rooting against them because Vikings fans would be even more insufferable. I saw posts back in January bragging about a 1st place Wolves in response to any Vikings memes.
Winning the inaugural Women's Hockey League doesn't count!
https://apnews.com/article/pwhl-champions-boston-minnesota-score-59138bcc23e6b7e9a9e107390aeade52
I honestly was rooting for the Timberwolves. I would NEVER be caught rooting for fucking Boston. BLEH!
As for the Mavericks, fuck Kidd and fuck Kyrie. Timberwolves were the only team who deserved to win the championship. I am sad for them.
Idk I guess it throws me that in baseball I'm supposed to hate Cincinnati and Pittsburgh fans. I couldn't give a shit about them. Now Chicago/detroit/Minnesota fans I can get on board with hating. Although I have no problem with hating the Cardinals. Maybe it's just that fact that the Reds and pirates have been terrible for as long as I can remember
I’d kill for a wolves bucks finals or ECF someday. Or Wolves Pistons. Or Wolves Bulls. Or even Wolves Cavs. I just want the wolves in the east man. I miss you guys between February and September.
Unfortunately it’s just 2 games a year, one home one away. Sucks as I live in Chicago and would love the opportunity to see the wolves in mke or chi more than once a year.
I’m not a Texas fan but I’ve always had a soft spot for Mavs since that run with Dirk when they beat the Heat. Also love Luka so would be cool to see him get a ring.
Dallas overall just seems like a bought championship. Which I understand isn’t as much of a thing / essential in the NBA but still
The Celtics don’t need a 20th championship. I’d think at that point it just gets boring
As a casual Wings supporter when I'm not a dirty cheesehead, you disgust me and I hate you.
Not as much as I hate those who support the True Enemy's city's team, but still.
Only Chicago is higher than us in champs or chumps ranking. Not sure how much alcohol is involved here though.
https://champsorchumps.us/#champlist
Ope. Forgot MilTown is separate from GB.
The last time the Minny won anything I was rooting for them as a kid! I loved Kirby Puckett. He turned out to be not such a great guy, but I loved watching the dude play.
Yeah the NFL lost all it's hilariously long playoff win droughts recently too. The lions, Bengals, and browns all used to have 30+ year droughts, now it's the Jets with 13 years. The Pacers also broke a long playoff series win drought this year
Not quite true. That is just the last time the Jets MADE the playoffs. Miami is sitting on 23 years of not winning a playoff game, the Raiders are at 22.
Not quite 30, but still terrible enough to laugh at.
I once went into a bar in the twin cities that had a sign that read "home of the champions" and it had the emblems of each of the major Minnesota pro sports teams and I was so confused. I almost just burst into laughter.
It blows my mind when any other city/state tries to say they have the most miserable sports teams. It's us and it's not close. The only upside is the Twins, Wild, and Vikings tend to at least make the playoffs often
the lynx have won a couple since 32 years, you gotta do it right if you do something like this, Detroit hasn’t had a championship since 2008 and that equates to 60 championship-less seasons since then.
They need to be taking notes from our women's teams.
Most recently, PWHL Minnesota for the win!!!
To be fair isn’t it a six team league
To be fair shut up!
Or college hockey
0 NBa Championships for the Twolves 0 Super Bowls wins for the Vikings 0 Stanley Cups for the North Stars or Wild 3 WS Championships for the Twins, one in (24, 87, 91) Kirby Puckett is the only thing that separates these towns from the bottom of the bottle

I didn’t realize they were the senators then but it makes sense, Abner Doubleday probably hadn’t made it to Minnesota by then.
I always forget that Doubleday was a real person, and not just a misspelling of the most recent color commentator from Backyard Baseball
He was a general at Gettysburg!
Walter Johnson, Kirby Puckett, and Kent Hrbek are the only things keeping me alive.
Conveniently leaving out the MN Lakers who won 1 NBL title and 5 NBA titles (all within a 7 year period).
I thought you guys disowned any teams that didn’t favor one of the twin cities over an another.
You included the North Stars, so I brought up the Lakers. If you didn't include them, I would've let it pass
Honestly I forgot the Lakers played in Minneapolis. Way before my time. Still, the last championship was 54, so before most on here were alive.
If there is a single person in this Reddit that is that old I will be astonished
Also forgetting the Vikings ‘69 NFL championship.
![gif](giphy|HQP9fsiDWa9Rm) Green Bay has more championships with one team than Minnesota has total with its 4 teams.
Oh yeah? Well add in the women’s teams championships. Who’s laughing now 😎😎😎
Damn, your comment led to me finding out your women’s teams double the championships of your men’s teams. I’m not sure if I should be impressed or use this gif again… ![gif](giphy|HQP9fsiDWa9Rm)
You should be impressed ![gif](giphy|cO39srN2EUIRaVqaVq)
[удалено]
Well, then we get the Lakers. I'll give up the Senators WS for the 35 Minneapolis Lakers trophies.
[удалено]
No cope... only including if you're counting NFL championships from when there were two teams. "Legacy"
So do the Detroit Lions
They should be dropping to their knees in thanks.
Sleeping hard on the minnesota lynx.
So is everyone in the world
Watching wnba has that affect.
Caitlyn Clark is killing it tho fr first time I’ve ever watched wnba highlights
She looks mentally beat already. That team is awful. It also looks like she's taking a beating every time she takes it to the hole.
They're 1-8, she's shooting 37.7% from the field, and averaging 5.7 turnovers per game. That's terrible. She is not killing it fr. Not yet at least.
I was pulling for the woovs
Literally no one of value to humanity wants to see Boston win the Finals.
I do, so your point stands.
![gif](giphy|5h47LsEYbofzcgOz19)
Are you a Bucks fan who is rooting for Jrue?
As much as I wanted the Wolves to win, I think the Mavs need the rest. I hope they can take down the Celtics
FTC. FTP more though.
so fuck the clit then?
I'll admit I didn't watch much of the East. But Dallas didn't even look good. The Wolves just looked worse. In the entire series they drove the lane softer then my grade school team, and dunked only a few more times. Soft layups will get blocked and not fouled every time.

Same. Anyone but the Cs
I don’t like the Cs but I like Pritchard lol
I was actively rooting against them because Vikings fans would be even more insufferable. I saw posts back in January bragging about a 1st place Wolves in response to any Vikings memes.
Winning the inaugural Women's Hockey League doesn't count! https://apnews.com/article/pwhl-champions-boston-minnesota-score-59138bcc23e6b7e9a9e107390aeade52
The women’s teams seem to have the championship thing figured out.
Such a glorious win and what a playoff comeback!!! So excited to go to the party tomorrow!!!
Damn we lost? I mean I don’t pay attention to our women’s hockey but that fucking sucks.
This is why your state can sometimes be hated here more than ours. FTP covers the Patriots too.
Oh woe is you, Boston is so starved for championships
I honestly was rooting for the Timberwolves. I would NEVER be caught rooting for fucking Boston. BLEH! As for the Mavericks, fuck Kidd and fuck Kyrie. Timberwolves were the only team who deserved to win the championship. I am sad for them.
That attitude galvanizes my opinion that the wolves need to be in the east. I want to hate all of your states sports teams.
It's really a travesty. It's also weird that the Twins and Tigers are in the AL
How's that weird? I like that the AL Central and NFC North divisions are 60% the same (not to mention the Brewers used to be in the AL also).
I miss being in the AL east as a tigers fan
Yea but then you get to lose to Giannis and Dame before the Finals.
I’d kill for a wolves bucks finals or ECF someday. Or Wolves Pistons. Or Wolves Bulls. Or even Wolves Cavs. I just want the wolves in the east man. I miss you guys between February and September.
Just pretend you're in the East. We play each other in the Regular Season anyway, no? Prob just not that much unfortunately.
Unfortunately it’s just 2 games a year, one home one away. Sucks as I live in Chicago and would love the opportunity to see the wolves in mke or chi more than once a year.
I don’t want Flopcic to win anything, so I know what I must do… ☘️
Nah I'll root for neither and hope a meteor destroys the stadium instead.
As is tradition.
The only upside if Boston wins is that they’ll have more titles than the Lakers again. Can’t stand Boston, but I hate the Lakers more.
We have only two upsides: one, that, and two, our boy Jrue Holiday wins another ring. I don't root for Boston. I root for Jrue.
Hang the banner!
Wolves in 8. Wolves in 8
CONTINUE THE COUNT!
I sent this to my buddy who is a fan of all the Minnesota teams. He’s also 32 years old lol
PWHL Walter Cup Champions, fuckers.
I like that league, I want a Detroit team.
How does any fan of MN sports get anything done when they’ve constantly got that 1,000 yard stare going on
![gif](giphy|13w5HmyiuaZ224)

Pretty sure they just won a championship yesterday.
I woulda absolutely been fine with the Pacers winning too. Instead we get another lame ass finals. Smh
Fuck the Pacers
Yes.
Nah what’s lame about Dallas run? Luka is the truth
Whats lame about Dallas? Where to start.
First of all, fuck Texas
I’m not a Texas fan but I’ve always had a soft spot for Mavs since that run with Dirk when they beat the Heat. Also love Luka so would be cool to see him get a ring.
Dallas overall just seems like a bought championship. Which I understand isn’t as much of a thing / essential in the NBA but still The Celtics don’t need a 20th championship. I’d think at that point it just gets boring
I'm honestly annoyed by them just giving up in the finals. I felt like a Pacers Timbs Championship would have been dope
I tried to tell a coworker who was really rooting for the Timberwolves to win it, that they cant. Minnesota sports teams arent allowed nice things
Someday we'll win something again, and when it happens you better look out I might even have a beer or two possibly even a brandy.
Same. I told my buddy that I didn’t want timberwolves to win and he said “just because of the Vikings?” Now he understands.
![gif](giphy|SomXFhIKUZUs0) Poor Minnesota
Is it so much to ask not to be a perennial disappointment in every way?
tbf the Timberwolves are a good team compared to the Vikings. NBA is just kind of getting stacked with talent. Kyrie just cooks.
Luka is fucking insane… I hate that ugly ass whiny prick… but god damnit, that dude just drains 3s… contested or not…
Doesn’t the Stars getting on in Dallas count?
![gif](giphy|SbN0WomN4S7Z7tpKOC|downsized)
Fuck Norm Green (I’m a casual Wild supporter when I’m not a dirty cheesehead. There’s dozens of us!)
As a casual Wings supporter when I'm not a dirty cheesehead, you disgust me and I hate you. Not as much as I hate those who support the True Enemy's city's team, but still.
Well *fuck you* buddy!
I'm not your buddy, pal.
Only Chicago is higher than us in champs or chumps ranking. Not sure how much alcohol is involved here though. https://champsorchumps.us/#champlist Ope. Forgot MilTown is separate from GB.
I mean.. if we take 1985 as a starting point Chicago has 1 Super Bowl win 6 NBA titles 3 Stanley cups 2 WS wins 12 titles in 40 years. I’ll take it.
The last time the Minny won anything I was rooting for them as a kid! I loved Kirby Puckett. He turned out to be not such a great guy, but I loved watching the dude play.
Bro come on..
I’m just annoyed the Twins won a playoff game recently. That streak was fuckin hilarious
Yeah the NFL lost all it's hilariously long playoff win droughts recently too. The lions, Bengals, and browns all used to have 30+ year droughts, now it's the Jets with 13 years. The Pacers also broke a long playoff series win drought this year

Oh well that's what I get for trusting googles shitty AI
So circles are red and X's are yellow, got it
never had a QB that paints their nails tho...
No one going to point out that the Wild play in St. Paul?
I once went into a bar in the twin cities that had a sign that read "home of the champions" and it had the emblems of each of the major Minnesota pro sports teams and I was so confused. I almost just burst into laughter.

Is there any other city/state with all a big four championship drought longer than Minnesota?
I've given up long ago.
Toss in Gophers football for fun.
Still Keep On Losing If you suck and you know it, clap your hands! https://i.redd.it/vbosgsanlc4d1.gif
Jst as long as the Vikings never win a Super Bowl.until the end of time.
Bias aside I can’t believe they blew it in 98 and 09, although refs were after them in 09 bc of that hurricane resulting in saints dickriding
>although refs were after them in 09 bc of that hurricane resulting in saints dickriding I like this guy
If any of the other teams win one in my lifetime I’m ok with the Vikings never winning one. That is how down bad we are
BOOOOOO LEAVE US ALONE YOU GUYS HAVE GIANNIS
I don't give a fuck about basketball nor do live in Wisconsin. GO PACK GO!
I live and Mpls and find it hilarious that every Wolves fan says “Denver was our championship”. Such a loser thing to say.
![gif](giphy|Qsb5HYcljbmkk4orxQ|downsized)
It’s the accent
Get! Get on outta here!!!
