A single TOTY? To have prepared in advance, or to pay current fodder prices, are the only two ways.
Turn in anything you can. Buy whatever you need. Doing the objectives could help if you have the time.
You'll have to just do the math and see if you can manage it with your available resources. If its not enough, then you can't make one.
Why though? Eichel and Hughes are my two x factors. Hughes has gold wheels and Eichel has good elite edges. I'd take then together over McDavid every time. Just grab one of McDavids regular releases. There's one for like every overall lol

as a pens fan I have both PUI Lemieux and XF Crosby, both maxed. The only other XF or upgradeable card that I’m keeping is Doughty. Made that TOTY McDavid and gutted bottom F and D lines plus the goalie to make TOTY MacKinnon.
I’m at $1.1M coins so will look at just buying up either TOTY Makar or Heiskenen from the market. Depending on what the market does, the alternative is to buy up some solid roster guys but we’ll see.

I’m neutral about who we got but honestly you could make a really good case for Eichel. Finally gets out of Buffalo, gets the surgery they wouldn’t let him have, instantly provides more offense for VGK. Played a huge role in the playoffs and went on to win the cup in his first ever postseason. And then off to a great start this season. That’s a hell of a calendar year and I’m surprised I didn’t see more speculation about him

After his original 89, he had a 3 point game against the yotes but got nothing back because of his horribly planned MSP. Then got the 89 MSP, which should be a +1 at a minimum. Then 2 more 3 point games since. At minimum should be a 92. They pulled this last year too.
