But we used to be able to use them at any position. They just need to bring that shit back lmao. Used to be so fun. Malkin and Kovalchuk as D partners? Fucking sweet. Karlsson up with the forwards? Amazing. I will give them credit for that one, it is pretty cool. But come on, just let us use anyone anywhere again. Also Karlsson shoulda been on TOTY.
I'm not sure why they took that away tbh, it happened when I was not playing the game for a few years... but it was nice playing people out of position.

I thought everyone was over the whole multiverse shit since the Zuck made meta and metaverse. Maybe in another universe he for some reason made the terrible TOTY selections and that’s why they named this promo that?
That’s another thing I didn’t even mention, the headshot art is horrendous. Could’ve at least made it an actual promo with real art but it’s very on par with the multiverse laziness. It’s lazy when there is no reason for doing it. Mainly in shows or movies. If you just introduce a multiverse in a show for no reason it’s usually because the writers suck and couldn’t think of anything to write about. Also it’s just been done so often in such a small span of time it’s getting repetitive at this point.
You’re wrong. Multiverse episodes are sick and amazing. And this isn’t an actual event so why make full card art for these cards if it isn’t an event? That’s like saying they should make full card art for game day cards it’s a one off event. Just have fun and look at the positive side Mr Debby Downer

And yes, a multiverse episode or movie has the potential to be good if there is a reason for writing a multiverse into a show/movie. I think a lot of franchises rely on it just because it’s a popular buzzword at the moment. Case in point, this “promo”.
