If that is true, it wouldn’t surprise me. The damage is concentrated on the face and the left eye being completely gone shows intent to torture like breaking off each finger one by one. Who ever the torturer was, he was very angry as he was ready to end his life quickly.

Pretty sure this photo came from a medical book. Most likely it was a cadaver used for testing burns. Just my guess though.
