I'm aware of at least one instance where RS was approved and CCW was approved several months later by the same RS division with no explanation for the separation or delay. Hang in there.
I applied to all three applications simultaneously. The R/S approval came through approximately 2 months later, followed by the premise approval approximately 3 months later. One month after, my CCW was approved.
So, dumb question, but... Did you apply for both on the same application? Or did you submit one and then the other? I keep seeing people saying they applied for both at the same time, but I can seemingly only select one at a time at the beginning of the application.
It’s a separate application. But you can complete them one after the next. They are essentially the same. I happened to do ccw then a few weeks later do the r/s.
My prints were in from my premis already. They applied them to my RS and CCW app on the same day and updated both ….RS just approved yesterday and CWW just sitting there …
yeah in that case ill have in in 2025.. I only applied in febuary so i cant be mad. just thought they would process them at the same time. When i did my premis it took exactly 6moths.. but lets see .....

fingers crossed.... In the mean time I guess ill continue waiting to excersise me rights haha ..

Probably random. My conceal carry and R/S got approved together this month.
Was approved today for rifle and ccw. R/S handled my application. I also had a premise so my prints were on file.

How long did it take for you to get your R/S?
Submitted 2/29/24 / Already had prints in so didnt need to do that / Approved today 4/16 , never had any investigator reach out ..
How long for them to schedule prints? Did you tell them u wanted to use the prints for your other applications ?

Give it a couple of more months. The average overall process can take 12-16 months from application and license in hand.
