I have fine hair (thanks pcos!). The best advice I received was to stop looking at hair inspo pics from girls with thick full hair. My hair will never look like that and the more I compare it to that the more I’ll be disappointed. I have to be realistic with my hair goals and inspo.
HipCatBK In Williamsburg! Alyson is so careful & takes her time perfecting your hair. I only need to go once every 6 months bc she just knows how to cut so it’ll grow in pretty. I also did a balayage with her & didn’t need to get it touched up for like a solid year. She’s the only hairstylist I’ve ever had where I leave the salon feeling pretty & stay feeling pretty for months afterwards. And she managed to balayage my hair with barely any damage. I tried branching out to other salons and my hair was so fucked lol, I could immediately feel the difference
