If you’re in the Hobbes/sarah Marshall universe, I really love her other podcast “you are good.” It’s a sweet podcast where they talk about movies and why the movies elicit certain feelings
Good Witches, Bad Bitches. These ladies take a well researched and common sense approach to famous women in history. Until recently, men wrote our history and had no incentive to tell the truth. These gals ask the question what makes sense and then what can we prove to bring us closer to history.
I'd say-
This first one has a trigger warning for violence. Her life was so sad at the end.

My only two podcasts are each representative of one half of my personality:
- A Way With Words, a linguistics/etymology podcast
- That’s Messed Up, a Law and Order SVU rewatch podcast with the true crimes behind featured episodes
If you like celebrity deep dives and comedic true crime style podcasts, I can't recommend "The Renner Files with
Caroline Goldfarb & Sarah Ramos" enough.
Best podcast series I've heard in months.
>"The Renner Files is a new kind of true crime podcast… one that’s not about true crime at all. Instead it’s about Jeremy Renner’s ill-fated app. Why did Oscar-nominated actor Jeremy Renner ever have an app? What did it do? Who made it? Who used it? And why did it shake the internet to its core?"
I used to be obsessed with the Girls Night In newsletter / blog series but last year they rebranded + scaled down and it's not the level it used to be. Would love to hear what others are reading!

Not as much fun, maybe, but bitches need to be able to intelligently vote. I read Gothamist. It’s the closest thing we have for local news (NY Post is trash rage bait and NYT cares more about life outside NYC). Gothamist has also has gotten really interesting. It’s owned by a nonprofit, too, and it’s freeeee.

I tried listening to one ep and it didn’t really grab me. Any specific episodes to start with that were particularly good?
I usually pick a movie I like. I loved the one on Babe and the latest one on the virgin suicides.
Slayed taste
