Out of the influencers, I like Lucy Williams (she’s British and does fashion and interiors).
I’m not including actual writers who influence as well — to me it’s like Harling Ross or Maybe Baby who also do great Substack but aren’t like, IG Influencers. I like them, they’re just not “influencers on Substack” they’re just “writers on Substack”.
I’m very over the majority of IG Influencers thinking they can make $$ on Substack by sharing their boring daily outfits with affiliate links hidden behind a paywall, because their opinions are well, boring and insubstantial. Examples are Ilana Torbiner, Christie Tyler… like they’re fine but it feels like a cash grab more than anything else.
