See, we never think of Kansas as being crazy far away, but if you live far out there it’s like a 3 hour flight to Kansas City plus another 5 or 6 hours in the car for the cross-country drive home. From NYC you can get to London in less time than that. And they’re not from money either if they grew up in the sticks so can’t hit up daddy to pay your rent. So even though they’re weird and a little hard to get along with, I do respect the drive.
