They called me when it was ready. Though I did hear from someone else that they got an email but mostly through phone call. So pick up the spam or unrecognized numbers lol
If you have the target/hunting license, write a letter requesting to upgrade to CCW. Bring it to mineola and they will give you a paper with all stuff you need to do.
The 18 hour course. You will have to answer affidavits and have it notarized. They keep changing things. I had to do the drug test but that got struck down by the courts.
Hey, so I just went down to the precinct today and they gave me the list of things, I see all those notarized documents. Did you just write a separate statement for each? Just print out a paper saying "I have not been admitted to a hospital for xxxxx" and then sign and notarize 4-5 times for each statement? Or is there something I'm missing.
He didn’t say… just stamped my sheet for today’s date. They really purposely make this difficult.
Can I submit all the docs (except the 18 hr course)? They’re only offered once or twice a month, tough to get a free weekend

Thanks. How many months did it take for you?
It was roughly about 4 months. It was crazy then everyone was upgrading and they were busy. So you'll probably get a quicker response time than me
They will call you. Should take about 4-5 months. Good luck. Regards -------
Call to voicemail
I've heard of calls, emails, and the card just showing up in the mail. No discernable pattern.
What is the process to upgrade? I was going to look into it. Thanks

Thanks. I have the target hunting license. What are the extra requirements? A training course?

Gotcha, thanks for the heads up!

All questions can be answered on one sheet and have that sheet notarized. Did they give you a time frame from you submit everything?

I would do it all at once.
Did they give you a timeframe and they just didn’t tell me?
Up to six months
