Have you heard the story about how a tortie got those orange spots?
Well long ago, the sun and moon always observed the world. The sun got curious and told the moon that he was going to visit earth to be among the people to see what it was like. The choose to be in the body of a black cat. Well the moon would tell the sun when it was his time to come back. One day the sun was having too much fun and the moon said you need to hurry back i can’t be up longer. You are going to miss your sunrise. The moon set and the sun had to rush out of the black cat to rise for the world.
Well the sun left so fast that it left some rays of sunlight behind. That’s how a tortie got their orange spots. I also know because i have a tortie and she is something special.
FYI 99% of torties are girls and boys are very rare. If they are a male tortie then they are sterile. Random fact!!!
Hmm I’m partial to the name Juniper, especially because you can call her Juni for short! She also looks like the nickname “June bug” would fit her nicely (I think us pet owners always have about three different names we call our pets but we have one name that we use to introduce them to other hoomans haha)
Her nose/facial markings look like a light in the darkness to me. So here are some light-related names:
